Louis R. Heinaman, 81, of 746 Interstate Parkway, Bradford, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, at Olean General Hospital.
Born January 22, 1944, in Olean NY, he was a son of the late Harry and Gertrude (Dempsky) Heinaman. He was a 1963 graduate of Bradford High School.
On January 22, 1989, in Kane, he married Janet G. (Lehman) Heinaman, who survives.
Lou worked in the construction business, and the Oil and Gas Industry for NEOG, and later at Graham Packaging.
He was a member of the Wanders Motorcycle Club, and enjoyed riding Harley with his wife.
Surviving in addition to his wife Janet, of 36 years, is one son, Harry Heinaman, of Bradford, one son-in-law, James Lanphere, of Brockton NY, five grandchildren, Samara Dulmaine, Olivia Lanphere, London Lanphere, Logan Lanphere, Matthew Heinaman, and several great grandchildren, two brothers, Roy Heinaman, of Buffalo NY, Bob Heinaman, of California, and several nieces and nephews.
Lou was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Brandi Lanphere, one grandson, Dakota Lee Heinaman who died June 2, 2015, and one sister, Marjorie Heinaman.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. and the services are private. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
