Leon Michael Gardner, age 48, of Austin, PA passed away on April 18, 2023 at his home surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer.

Leon, also known as Mike, was born on November 21, 1974 in Wellsboro, PA and he was a son to the late Edward Gardner, Sr. and Donna (Dake) McFall. On January 8, 2000 Leon married Tammy Mann-Cook in Osceola, PA; together they spent 23 loving years before his passing.

Mike loved the outdoors; whether it be fishing, hunting or camping. He also enjoyed cooking and spending time with his loving family and friends. He also enjoyed drinking beer, his favorite past time hobby.

Leon is survived by his wife, Tammy Gardner; son, Travis Gardner; and grandson, Christopher Marsiglio all of Austin, PA. He is also survived by his siblings; James Gardner (Pamela) of Elkland, PA, Veronica Gardner of Elkland, PA, Ernest Gardner (Kerri) of Knoxville, PA and Edward Gardner, Jr. (Thoma) of Osceola, PA; step-father, Roy McFall; step-children; Crystal Cook (Jordan) of Costello, PA, Jennifer Ahern of Coudersport, PA, Eugene Ahearn (Samantha) of Coudersport, PA and Joshua Marsiglio of Emporium, PA; grandchildren, Dravyn, Adelaide, John Jr., Opal and Lily; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by both his parents and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Family and friends are welcomed to the Elkland Moose Lodge #746 on May 7, 2023 at 2:00pm for a memorial dinner. Memorial donations can be sent to Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W.
