Lee Anne Deming, 53, of Turtle Point, formerly of Covington, PA.
Lee Anne Deming, 53, of Turtle Point, formerly of Covington, entered into glory on April 10, 2023. Lee Anne was born on December 30, 1969 to Karen and Andy Deming in Blossburg.
She was the first girl born into the Deming family in 90 years. She had a carefree spirit, she adored her children and grandchildren. She had a special bond with her nieces and nephews and they lived for her stories and laughter. Oh, the stories that she would tell, she had wit that was unmatched.
She was employed by Jackson Amusements after graduating high school and later worked at the foundry while raising her two children.
She was selfless and though she suffered physically from debilitating rheumatoid arthritis and MS, she would make the best of everyday. She was very artistic and loved to paint, make crafts, draw and color.
She kept an immaculate house which she shared with the love of her life, Mark Sherman. She disliked being in the kitchen and would joke that Mark domesticated her.
She was such a light and blessing to all who knew her. Lee Anne accepted Christ as her savior and her hope was that her family and friends would do the same.
She was proceeded in death by her beloved mother, Karen Lindquist Deming. She is survived by her children; Nicholas Deming and Lindsey Deming, her beloved soul mate, Mark Sherman, grandchildren; Kaleb, Gabby, Owen, Hope and Mason, father, Andrew Deming, brother Brett Deming, sister, Kelly (David) Dewberry, an aunt, Susan Mozingo, nieces; Ellen (Scott) Samber, Stevie (Joel) Gregory, nephews; Brandon Deming and Grayson Dewberry, many cousins and close friends, Allison Wivell, Katie Fairchild, Brooke Guariglia and Sue Fisk, and adopted into the family, Ely and Mya Warriner. We will miss her beautiful face, her smile, her laughter and sense of humor.
Visitation will be held at Marsh Creek Fellowship Baptist Church, Route 6 Wellsboro, Pa. Visitation will be from 2 – 4pm on Sunday, April 16, 2023 with a funeral service to follow at 4pm. She will be laid to rest at the Arbon cemetery next to her mother.
