Lecretia A. HARING, 62, of Harrisburg, PA, formerly of Ulysses, died Friday, February 21, 2025, in her home.
Born December 11, 1962, in Wellsville, NY, she was the daughter of William I. and Mary Jane Chase Haskins. A 1981 graduate of Northern Potter High School, she was employed by PrimeCare Medical Inc. Lecretia was a member of The First Baptist Church of Ulysses. She was also a thirty-one-year member of Ulysses Chapter of OES #95. She lived a life that was fulfilled by love for her four boys. Her passion and driving force in life was her four grandsons.
Lecretia had a smile that would light up any room. She loved to bake and anytime you got a call that she was bringing baked goods it was a fight for who would get how many of each. She would do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat. Her compassion for anyone in need was unmatched. She has left a void that will never be able to be filled. Her personality, love, passion, and generosity are just not something that can be matched. She will never be forgotten.
Surviving are: her parents, Bill and Mary Jane Haskins of Ulysses; three sons, Willis (Danielle) Haring, Sinjin (Kristin) Haring, and Spencer (Matthew Popielarczyk) Haring; four grandchildren, Parker James Haring, Avery Chase Haring, Waylon Elliot Haring, and Dawson Reed Haring; four siblings, Lynette (Leon) Coleman, Dewitt (Ann) Haskins, Todd (Cynthia) Haskins, and Lucinda (Keith) Haskins Everett; nieces and nephews; an aunt, Nancy Lesslie; an uncle, James Haskins; and cousins.
She was predeceased by a son, Chase William Haring.
Friends may call Friday, February 28, 2025, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at The First Baptist Church of Ulysses, where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM. There is an elevator on the ground floor of the church (enter from side doors) for people unable to navigate the front stairs.
The funeral will be livestreamed on the Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory FaceBook page. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery. Members fo OES Chapter #95 will gather at the church at 7:30 PM on Friday.
