Lake Effect Snow Warning issued December 17 at 10:39AM EST until December 19 at 1:00PM EST by NWS Buffalo

…LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST MONDAY…

• WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations of
  12 to 24 inches in the most persistent lake snows. The heaviest
  snow on Sunday in southern Erie county will be south of a line
  from Eden to the Boston Hills, including Springville. Winds
  gusting as high as 35 mph on Sunday will result in patchy
  blowing snow.
• WHERE…Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie
  counties.
• WHEN…Until 1 PM EST Monday.
• IMPACTS…Travel will become very difficult at times with deep
  snow cover on roads and poor visibility.

INSTRUCTIONS: Heavy snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be
prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
