DESCRIPTION: …LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS
EVENING TO 10 PM EST THURSDAY…
- WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow
accumulations of 7 to 14 inches in the most persistent lake
snows. The higher end of the snowfall range will be found
across the higher terrain of Chautauqua county and the
northwest portion of Cattaraugus county. - WHERE…Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties.
- WHEN…From 7 PM this evening to 10 PM EST Thursday.
- IMPACTS…Travel could become very difficult. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening
commutes.
INSTRUCTIONS: Heavy snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be
prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
