Kenneth James Wilson, 84, of Wellsboro, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at his home. He was born January 22, 1940, in Wellsboro, the son of the late Charles and Louise (Knapp) Wilson.
Ken worked as an Equipment Operator for PennDot and prior worked for Walker Tire, Wellsboro. He was also an accomplished carpenter, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and working on his family farm.
He also enjoyed tinkering and fixing things in his own way. Ken was a member of Coolidge Hollow Methodist Church. He enjoyed scuba diving at Keuka Lake, even though he could not swim.
Ken is survived by daughters: Michelle (Paul) Roell of Elkhart, IN; Lisa (Bob) Zakowski of South Bend, IN; and Kimberly (Ben) Schrass of Mechanicsburg; brothers: Edward (Joyce) Wilson of Wellsboro; Bill Wilson of Wellsboro; Charles Wilson, Jr. of Chattanooga, TN; a sister, Barbara (John) Turk of Frewsburg, NY; grandchildren: Tanner Denison, Ty Denison, Seth (Meridith) Joy, Megan Schrass, Sarah (Payton) Fish, and Allison Schrass, Jeremy (Micheala) Butters, and 4 great grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Ken’s life from 10:00 to 11:00am, Saturday October 12, 2024, at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro.
