Kenneth F. “Butch” Donachy, 55, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

He was born on September 10, 1967 in St. Marys, a son of the late Kenneth Donachy and JudyAnn Wehler Donachy, who survives of St. Marys.

Butch was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, class of 1986. He worked in the powdered metal industry throughout his life. Butch always loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed shed hunting, and could often be found shooting trap and skeet. Some of his favorite pastimes were trips to camp with his best friends Brian Ginther and Darren Yanak. He will be remembered for his kindness and always greeting anyone he met with a hello and how are you.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by 3 children; Amy Leuschel and her husband George of St. Marys, Jessica Donachy of St. Marys, and Tyler Donachy of Kersey.

He is also survived by three sisters; LoriAnn (Scott) Colson of Johnsonburg, Colette (Andrew) Mosier of Kersey, and Jennifer (Frank Samick) Donachy of St. Marys, and by one brother; Joseph (Sara) Donachy of St. Marys, as well as by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Fred and Rosella Wehler, and by his paternal grandparents; Gerald and Marjorie Donachy.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Kenneth F. “Butch” Donachy will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at St. Marys Church, Church Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Fr. Thomas More Sikora, OSB, as celebrant.

Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Marys or Fox Township Sportsmens Club.
