Kelley A. Hritz, 40, of 138 Bennett Road, St. Marys, PA.
Kelley A. Hritz, 40, of 138 Bennett Road, St. Marys, PA passed away unexpectedly with her husband by her side Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Allegheny General Hospital.
She was born August 23, 1983, in Tacoma, WA, daughter of Mark and Susan Bussell Oster of New Paris, PA.
Kelley was a graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School, Class of 2000 as well as a graduate of the Pittsburgh Technical Institute in 2003, where she met her loving husband and best friend, Jeffrey Hritz. Kelley and Jeff were united in marriage on August 1, 2006, in Decker’s Chapel.
In addition to her husband and parents, Kelley is survived by her son, Damien Hritz, at home; two brothers: Justin Musselman (Desirae) and Jonathan Musselman; mother-in-law, Hope Weichman of St. Marys; father-in-law, Jeffrey Hritz (Hope) of Uncasville, CT; three brothers-in-law: Jonathan Hritz (Tisha) of St. Marys, Luke and Levi Hritz, both of Uncasville, CT; two sisters-in-law: Emily and Brooke Hritz of Uncasville, CT; and three nieces and nephews: Bailey and Tanner Nussbaum, and Avery Hritz, who was her best buddy.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Merrill E. and Kathleen M. Guyette as well as her paternal grandparents, Ivan Myrl and Carol A. Musselman, Sr.
Kelley had many interests. She enjoyed her time traveling, especially to museums, as she was passionate about the arts. She’d rather go for a hike in the woods to see a beautiful waterfall than go sit on a beach. She loved flowers, gardening, and wildlife. As a photographer, she captured so many treasured memories for other people. She loved music and going to concerts. Above everything else, her husband and son were her life. A night at home watching one of their favorite shows, going for drives looking for deer, or going to the movies were all they needed to be happy, so long as they were together. She will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Monday, October 9, 2023, at 10:30 AM, with the Rev. Thomas More Sikora, OSB, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
Memorials, if desired, may be made in her name to The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association Great Rivers Affiliate, PO Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693 or ECCOTA, 237 Main Street, Ridgway, PA 15853.
