Kay F. Culbertson, 82, of Galeton, PA, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at The Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. 

Born December 25, 1941 in Clarion, PA, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Katherine (Anthony) Conner.  Kay was a graduate of Union High School in Rimersburg, PA. She was married to Ronald Culbertson, who preceded her in death.

She was a waitress at the Ox Yoke in Galeton for many years and was a past member of the Women of the Moose in Galeton and the Galeton V.F.W. Auxiliary. Kay enjoyed playing cards and Bingo, crocheting, and knitting.

Surviving are two sons, Tim (Mary) Culbertson, Baker, FL and Steve (Ashley Bender) Culbertson, Robinson, PA; a daughter, Brandi (Dan Shadle) Culbertson, Galeton; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Jean (Greg) Seybert, Rimersburg, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Kay was predeceased by two brothers, William and Richard Conner, and two sisters, Kimberly Birroco and Linda Bowser.

Services will be held at the family’s convenience. Memorial contributions may be made to the Galeton V.F.W. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Galeton.
