Karen A. Lecker, 64, formerly of Kersey, PA passed away peacefully on January 17, 2023, in Cheswick, PA, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on November 1, 1958 in St. Marys, PA, a daughter of Ronald Lenox of Kersey and Helen Prechtl Lenox of St. Marys.
Karen was a 1976 graduate of St. Marys High School and worked for many years at Carbon City Products. She then relocated to the Pittsburgh area, where she worked various jobs. In her free time, she enjoyed painting ceramics and spending time in the kitchen, cooking and baking. She also loved the outdoors, never turning down a chance to go camping or fishing.
In addition to her mother; Helen Prechtl Lenox and her father; Ronald (Pierina) Lenox, she is survived by one son; Joshua Lecker and his wife Maureen of Kersey; and by her beloved grandchildren; James and Troy Lecker. She is also survived by one brother; Mark (Brenda) Lenox of Kersey, her companion; Pat McMurray of Tarentum, her longtime best friend; Sharon Rieder, and by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her brother; Paul Lenox.
Funeral Services and Visitation is being held privately with the family at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Earlyville Cemetery in Kersey.
