Juli M. Creed, 53, of 1043 Brook St., Olean, NY
Juli M. Creed, of 1043 Brook St., passed away peacefully Tuesday (March 11, 2025) at Olean General Hospital, with her loving husband and family by her side.
Juli was born Oct. 30, 1971, in Canton, Ohio, and was the daughter of James Dale and Joanne Marie Gipp Snyder. On June 1, 1991, in Smethport, Pa., she married Rodney R. Creed, who survives.
Juli was a 1990 graduate of Smethport High School. She continued her education at the St. Francis School of Nursing in Allegany and then continued by attending JCC, where she graduated with her degree in nursing. She received her bachelor’s in nursing from Purdue University.
Juli began working as a floor nurse at Olean General Hospital, then she worked as an ICU nurse for 15 years at BRMC, then she worked as a nurse at the Salamanca School District for the past eight years until recently returning to Olean General Hospital.
Juli’s compassion, knowledge and desire to save lives made her a beloved and well-respected nurse among her peers and patients. She will always be remembered for her infectious laugh and sarcastic humor.
Juli loved swimming, reading, listening to live music, watching movies and playing with her dogs, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren, whom she referred to always as her “babies.”
Juli is survived by her mother, Joni Snyder of Pinellas Park, Fla.; her loving husband of 33 years, Rodney; three children, Jordan A. (Sequan) Holness of Vacaville, Calif., Gannon M. Creed of Largo, Fla. and Josh S. (Angelina) Creed of Salamanca; four grandchildren, Daciana, Henry, Caleb and Bubs; and a brother, Jimmy (Sue) Snyder.
Juli was predeceased by her father, Jim Snyder.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday (March 14, 2025) at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., at which time a funeral service will be held. Rev. Carrie Wolfe will officiate.
