Joy L. Bolling “beloved mother and grandmother”
COUDERSPORT, PA—Joy L. Bolling, 51, of Coudersport, formerly of Roulette, passed away with her loving sons by her side on Monday, February 19, 2024, in UPMC Cole, after a long illness.
Born on Tuesday, October 17, 1972 in Coudersport, she was a daughter of Dean and Charlene Grandin Meacham.
Joy was a 1991 graduate of Port Allegany High School. She was employed for many years by Helpmates in Coudersport and at the time of her passing was employed by Dickinson Center Inc. in Coudersport.
Joy was a member of the Bradford Vets Club. She enjoyed art, reading, and crocheting. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her father of Bradford; two sons, Deven L. Bolling and Dawsen L. Ramsey, both of Coudersport; three grandchildren, Benton Wright, Abygail Bolling and Juliana Bolling; a brother, Jon Meacham of Bradford; a sister, Katherine Gardner of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, Joy was predeceased by a brother, James Meacham.
A Celebration of Life honoring Joy will be held on a date, time and place to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Joy’s sons entrusted her care to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
