Jones Memorial Hospital

WELLSVILLE, NY (November 27, 2023) —

Early this morning, Jones Memorial Hospital began taking patients from a bus vs motor vehicle accident off Route 19 in the town of Wellsville – Wellsville Central School Bus #156. The hospital can report that all students involved in the incident have been transported safely to the hospital and families have been contacted and/or reunited.

Twenty patients have been treated and released, including 19 students and one bus driver. The driver of the motor vehicle was transported to Strong Memorial for further treatment.

The hospital would like to thank everyone involved in ensuring the safety of the students and drivers. Our thanks go out to the first responders, Wellsville Central School, EMS, hospital associates and medical staff as well as the NY State Police and Sheriff’s Department.
