John Raymond Stocum, age 70 of Elkland, PA passed away on July 29, 2025. He was born March 1, 1955 in Whitesville, NY and was a son to the late Ira and Mildred (Rhodes) Stocum. John enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and learning and collecting the history of Native Americans.

He was a sibling of ten children, three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Surviving siblings are Marian Taylor (Robert) of Harrison Valley, PA, Eva Shutt (James) of Ulysses, PA, Alice (Robert) Owen of Gains, PA and Emma Hoffman (Kenneth) of York, PA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Per John’s request, no services are to be held at this time.

He will be laid to rest at West Branch Cemetery, Galeton, PA. Arrangements are in the care of Kenyon Funeral Home, Inc.
