Joan H. Debolt (nee Hoffman), passed away peacefully at her home on March 22, 2024, in Bradford at the age of 83.

Born on September 1, 1940, in Akron, Ohio.  Joan was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Joan was an avid bridge player and master knitter.  She dedicated her life to sharing her passion for knitting by teaching and mentoring numerous individuals.  Her kindness and patience touched the lives of many.  Her wish to be remembered in life as a loving wife and mother goes without question.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 and one-half years, David L. Debolt; her daughter Kathleen (David) Jarzabek; grandchildren, Louis and Lillian Jarzabek and her brother, Jack (Rita) Hoffman of Omaha, Neb.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Lucile Noland Hoffman and Allen S. Hoffman.

Joan attended Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio.

Private services will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate Joan’s life. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the McKean County SPCA, P.O. Box 113, Bradford, PA  16701.  A cause that was dear to Joan’s heart.

Joan will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
