Jennifer Lynn Tucker, 43, of Parklane Dr., Port Allegany, PA passed away unexpectedly Saturday (Jun. 1, 2024) in her home.
Born February 19, 1981, in Port Allegany, she was a daughter of Jeffrey A. and Carey L. Davenport Tucker.
Jennifer was a longtime resident of the area and a graduate of Port Allegany High School, class of 1999. She resided in North Carolina and Texas before returning to the area.
She was employed with Zito Media for 10 years, and most recently with Frontier Communications, as an in-bound sales agent.
Jennifer was a member of the United Methodist Church, Port Allegany, where she had been active in the Youth group, and later as a Sunday school teacher.
She loved her family and friends, especially her children and pets. Her vibrant personality, laughter and light touched many lives.
She was a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She especially enjoyed sunflowers and frogs.
Surviving are parents, Carey & Barry Boyer of Port Allegany, Jeffrey (Roberta) Tucker of Coudersport; maternal grandparents, Mahlon & Sylvia Davenport of Port Allegany; a son, Lucas D. Roberge and a daughter, Katelynn M. Roberge both of Port Allegany; two sisters, Melissa D. (Tim) Lawson of Allegany, NY, and Brooke M. Boyer of Port Allegany; two brothers, Justin (Angela) Tucker of Elizabeth City, NC, and Jason Tucker of Cibolo, TX; nephews Cameron Quinn and Bryce Lawson, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Maxine & Paul Brown, and Bert Tucker; grandparents Clifford “Ted” and Audrey “Connie” Boyer, and an aunt, Cynthia Boyer Baxter.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday (Jun. 5, 2024) in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev James Cannistraci, pastor of the United Methodist Church, Port Allegany, officiating. Burial will be in Portage Valley Cemetery, Wrights.
