James C. Chapman, 76, of Vine St. in Warren, PA passed away Friday (March 1) at St. Vincents Hospital in Erie.  Born July 22, 1947 in Kane, he is the son of the late Luzerne and Ruth (Rymer) Chapman.

James had been employed as a social worker for the Warren State Hospital.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Lawrence Chapman, two half-brothers Alden and Warren Chapman and a half-sister, Adeline Laughlin.

As per his request, there will be no services.  He will be buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery alongside his parents.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
