James B. Finland, 85, of Bradford, PA
James B. Finland, 85, of Bradford, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Pavilion at BRMC.
Born on September 8, 1939, in Bradford, he was a son of the late James and Cora (Freeman) Finland.
He was a graduate of Bradford Area High School.
On September 8, 1960, in Bradford he married Inez (Cramer) Finland who passed away December 2, 2010.
He was a janitor for the First United Methodist Church in Bradford.
James was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness-Bradford Congregation on Minard Run in Bradford. He was dedicated to being at the service on Sundays. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving is one daughter, Cora (Scott) Roupe, two sons, James (the late Lois) Finland, and Bert Finland, all of Bradford, two stepsons, Jim (Connie) Cramer of Bradford, and Larry Kirch, eleven grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter, Patricia Haynoski, sister, Inez Carlson, and two grandsons, James Finland III and Philip Joseph Finland.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Avenue, where at 11:00 am funeral service will be held. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
