James A. “Jim” Moore, 87, of Bradford, PA
James A. “Jim” Moore, 87, of Bradford, PA passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at UPMC Cole, Coudersport.
He was born on July 29, 1936 in San Jose, CA, the son of the late Rosalyn “Rose” Bushine Moore.
He attended Willow Glen High School, Willow Glen, CA and Bethany University, Scotts Valley, CA; where he studied Pastoral Theology.
On August 24, 2012 in the Abundant Assembly of God Church he married Erma J. “Jan” Yeagley who survives.
He was employed by General Motors, Lockport, NY for thirty years, retiring in 1999. He also pastored the former McCrae Brook Wesleyan Methodist Church from 1969 until 1974.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served from April 1956 until his honorable discharge in April 1959.
In addition to his wife Jan Moore of Bradford, he is also survived by three children, Tim (Dawn) Mederios of Jamestown, NY, Pamala (Charles) Dunbar of Newfane, NY and James A. Moore, II of Bradford; three stepchildren, Robin (Bruce) Cauvel, Steven McWilliams and William McWilliams all of Bradford; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Julia Moore and one sister, Phyllis Moore.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be announced at a later date.
