Inaugural Blueberry Festival happening at BRMC
Bradford, PA –Get ready for a ‘berry’ good time at Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC) as the inaugural Blueberry Festival is being hosted in the main lobby of the facility on Friday, July 26 from 11 am to 5 pm. This exciting new event coordinated by the Bradford Hospital Auxiliary (BHA) will be an annual event that will help support the important mission of BRMC.
The event will have food purchases of hot dogs, chips, and pop for $6.00, a baked goods sale, door prizes for attendees, basket raffles donated from local businesses and of course, mouth-watering, home-cooked blueberry cobbler for $6.00.
“I’m genuinely excited to be launching this new event for the hospital and our Bradford community. We have so much to celebrate here at BRMC and we want our community passionate about this hospital and local healthcare,” said Stephanie Huber, executive director, BHA. “This will be our version of the Olean General Hospital Auxiliary’s Strawberry Festival.
The Strawberry Festival is OGH Auxiliary’s annual event that has grown over 38 years since its inception. The yearly event draws hundreds of community members to the front lawn of OGH to take part in the festivities.
“We’re starting small and looking to expand each year. Our goal is to return every year with more excitement, more activities, and to provide more fun for our community members,” added Huber.
The event was made possible due to donations and sponsors from supportive local businesses. A special thank you to event sponsors, supporters, and donors which include Father Leo Gallina, Philo & Sarah Blaisdell Foundation, Dr. & Mrs. Anil Pradhan, Northwest Bank, Dr. Anita Herbert, Dr. & Mrs. Richard McDowell, Mr. & Mrs. Travis Baugh, LabelPack Automation, Father James Gutting, Dr. Holly Spittler, Fraternal Order of Eagles 2432, Mr. & Mrs. Paul Kessel, Fox Financial, Mrs. Stacie Salerno, United Refining, Mrs. Nellie Wallace, Cummins Construction, Kiwanis Club, Community Foundation, Mrs. Stacy Williams, Mrs. Carol Huber, American Refining Group, Pure Tech LLC., and International Wax Group.
