Holly Elizabeth Hamilton, 74, of Kane, PA passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 12, 2023 at UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA.

She was born on December 21, 1948 in Kane a daughter to the late Raymond and Betty Sample Allegretto. On October 19, 1968 in Rasselas, she married Gilbert Hamilton and he survives.

Holly was a 1967 graduate of Johnsonburg High School. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Mt. Jewett, where she devoted much of her time volunteering and ministering to youth. Holly loved spending time with family, reading, baking and doing crafts. She especially loved teaching crafts to others and was always making special gifts for loved ones’ babies and for fundraising events.

In addition to her husband at home, Holly is survived by two daughters, Carmella Hamilton of Kane and Beth (Todd) Butters of Bradford; a son, Raymond (Jessica) Hamilton of Wilcox; a brother, Thomas Allegretto of Rasselas; two sisters, Dorothy (Art) Johnson of Wilcox and Hope (Jeff) Hawkins of Pueblo, CO; a sister-in-law Kathleen Allegretto; two grandchildren, Christopher Leonard and Cora Beth Hamilton and two great-grandchildren, Kelli and Kenzie Silvis.

In addition to her parents, Holly was predeceased by a brother Donald Allegretto a sister-in-law Frances Allegretto and an infant grandson Steven.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Holly E. Hamilton will be conducted at St. Joseph Church, Mt. Jewett, PA on Thursday April 20, 2023 at 11 AM with Fr. Vincent Cieslewicz, Pastor as Celebrant. Visitation and Interment will be private.

Arrangements are under direction of the Anthony F Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonburg, PA.
