Helen V. “Ginny” (Lewis) Alexander, age 94, formerly of Wellsboro, PA, died on Monday, July 8, 2024. 

She was born on November 4, 1929 in Westfield, PA, a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Parker) Lewis and was married to the late Harold Alexander who passed away in 2017. 

She was a homemaker and was formerly employed by Wundies, Wellsboro, PA.  She was a member of the Church of Christ, Wellsboro, PA and enjoyed cooking, baking, doing puzzles and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by a son: James (Kim) Abbey of Tunnelton, WV, three daughters: Marilyn Hess of Knoxville, PA, Linda (Dave) Eick of Osceola, PA, Eva (David) Buckley of Ulysses, PA, stepdaughter: Pat Dean of Wellsboro, PA, 14 grandchildren: Amber Abbey, James Abbey, Jr., Debbie McCullen, Barrett VanSchaick, Shannon Spicer, Jennifer Eick, Stephanie Eick, Matthew Buckley, Davina Buckley Evingham, Nicole Daniels, Heather Abbey, Carrie Prince, Sherri Zuchowski, Marci Morgan, 26 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a son: Randy Abbey, grandchildren: Mark Fay, Bobbi Jo Dean, Lori Huntington, 2 great grandchildren, brothers: Don Lewis, Harold Lewis, sisters: Evelyn Allen, Mary Potter and Norma Fox. 

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 1 pm at the Tioga County Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, PA with Pastor Kristi A. Webster officiating.
