Gary R. Klein, 65, of Fern Road, St. Marys, PA passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, November 2, 2023.

He was born on September 23, 1958 in St. Marys, a son of Rose Gusmerotti Kline, who survives of St. Marys, and the late Richard Klein, who preceded him in death in 1994.

Gary was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, class of 1976. He was a member of Queen of the World Church and recently retired from Keystone Carbon Company as a Research & Development Coordinator after more than 45 years of service.

Gary was a member of the NRA and the St. Marys Sportsmens Club. He had a great passion for football, especially the Minnesota Vikings, and enjoyed running several fantasy football leagues. Most of all, Gary was an attentive and caring son, brother, and uncle who loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother, Gary is survived by two brothers; James Klein and his wife Cindy of St. Marys and Donald Klein and his wife Liz of Weedville, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and a great nephew.

In addition to his father, Gary was preceded in death by his step-father.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Gary R. Klein will be celebrated on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, as celebrant.

Family and friends will be received at Queen of the World Church on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Elk County Humane Society.
