FORMER MCKEAN COUNTY INMATE PLEADS GUILTY TO POSSESSION
(MCKEAN COUNTY, Pennsylvania: October 27, 2023): McKean County District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer confirmed that Francis Kramer, currently incarcerated with the Department of Corrections, pled guilty in McKean County Court to Possession of a Controlled Substance by an Inmate – (Felony 2).
McKean County Detective Linda Close investigated the case after suboxone and methamphetamine were found in a cell occupied by Kramer at the McKean County Jail in November of 2022. Kramer had previously pled guilty to Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer (Felony 3); Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Misdemeanor 1); and Recklessly Endangering Another Person (Misdemeanor 2). He was sentenced to a term of incarceration of 36 months to 72 months. He was incarcerated at the McKean County Jail to begin the sentence on November 25, 2022 following which the controlled substances were found by Corrections Officers at the McKean County Jail.
Kramer pled guilty to possessing the controlled substances while he was an inmate at the Jail.
In another case, he pled guilty to possessing a controlled substance.
He was scheduled to be sentenced on December 7, 2022.
