Wendy Lentz 

It is with great sadness and heartache to on behalf of myself and my husband Gib Lentz to share of his fathers Gilbert Lentz passing last night due to a home fire.

He was a good godly simple man with his own sense of humor— lol- definitely his own! He loved his family and his Sartwell Creek Union Church who were also family to him.

Keep his son and daughter Marcia Lentz Jaques and her husband Bo in your prayers during their time of absolute grief.

Gilbert SR. absolutely adored his youngest grandson Xander. He was proud, loved and appreciated his 3 adult grandchildren Caleb, Courtney and Zack. He also welcomed and accepted and loved his bonus step grand children Jessica, Matt MoweryMya May and little Eric.

And his big sister and best friend Ruth Murphy

We will miss him dearly

He had a good life and was loved- what more could a man ask for? His life was complete. We weren’t ready to let go yet. But know and believe he will be watching over us.

(Edited to send a special sincere thank you to the responding fire departments- and please pray for the 2 firefighters that were injured- I pray they know that our family is greatly appreciative and wish them speedy recovery)
