Erwin R. Niles, 85, of Wellsboro, PA passed away Tuesday March 5, 2024, at UPMC Soldiers and Sailors.  He was born March 12, 1938, in Wellsboro to Donald G. and Eva A. (Perry) Niles.  Erwin was an accomplished cook, served in the National Guard, and worked at Papas Restaurant in Tarpon Springs, FL.

Erwin is survived by two sons:  Todd W. (Nancy) Niles of Wellsboro, and Terry B. (Karen) Niles of Carlisle; two grandchildren:  Todd Hill and Jeremy Niles; three great-grandchildren:  Logan, Chyanne and Khaleesi Niles; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Donald G. Niles; two sisters:  Marian Webster and Doris Coumbe.

His family has entrusted arrangements to the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main Street, Wellsboro, PA.  Friends and family are invited to a graveside memorial service at 11 am, Friday, March 15, 2024, at the Wellsboro Cemetery.  Donations in Erwin’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.  To share a memory or condolence with his family visit www.tusseymosher.com.
