Elaine Alice Flynn, 92, of Galeton, PA, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023, at the Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, PA. 

Born August 4, 1931, in Hector Township, PA, she was a daughter of the late Gaylord and Hazel (Naylor) Jeffers. On April 15, 1950, she married Claude Flynn, who preceded her in death on January 21, 1988.

Elaine devoted her life to caring for her family and enjoyed cooking, gardening and doing jigsaw puzzles.

Surviving are three children, Linda (Harvey) Lehman, Janice (Phil) Batterson and Erroll (Bobbi) Flynn; seven grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen Bledsoe; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Elaine was preceded in death by three brothers, Leland, Amer and Elwin Jeffers and three sisters, Laura McClintock, Jean Mattison and Vivian Stiles. As per Elaine’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Collins Chapel, Galeton.
