On January 17th, 2026 at approximately 1:03am, Mary B. Place (51) of West Valley was arrested following a traffic stop in the City of Olean. Paraphernalia was observed in plain view leading to a search of the vehicle. Following a subsequent search of the vehicle and Place’s person suspected methamphetamine was located in the vehicle and on Place’s person. Place was taken into custody and transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Olean Substation for processing. Place was arraigned in the City of Olean Court and released under supervision.
