Donald E. Moore, 66, of Warren, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh with his loving family by his bedside. Don was born March 1, 1958, to Donna and Eugene Moore of Clarendon who survive him. He was a 1976 graduate of Warren Area High School and a 1978 graduate of Pitt Bradford.
Don was a longtime employee of Blairās computer department then went to work for Betts as their IT Director retiring in 2021. He spent his spare time hunting the woods of Warren County. His favorite pastime. Don was a long time Warren Sports Booster and prided himself in his efforts on the Brick Walkway Project to help fund the War Memorial field in the late 90ās and early 2000ās and spent many hours devoting his time watching his children on the basketball courts and football fields.
Don is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia Quiggle Moore, his son Michael Moore and wife Catherine of Leesburg, Virginia and daughter Katie Burke and husband Ryan of Webster, New York. His beloved grandchildren Emily and William Moore and Ella and Janie Burke were the lights of his life. He is also survived by brothers Brad Moore and family and Roger Moore and family.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in St Josephās Catholic Church, 600 Pennsylvania Ave. W., Warren, PA, with the Rev. Richard Tomasone, pastor, officiating, with a reception to follow in Meyer Hall. Those wishing to place memorials in his name may do so through a charity of oneās choice.
