Dixie L. Martino, 75, of St. Marys, formally of Ridgway, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Penn Highlands Elk.

She was born on June 18, 1949, in Ridgway, a daughter of the late Harry and Betty Woodward Gardner.

Dixie was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Ridgway High School class of 1965. Dixie was a woman of warmth and kindness, known for her fun-loving spirit and caring nature. Her love for playing bingo and watching Western TV shows brought her joy and laughter.

She is survived by 4 children; Tina Yale and her husband Nicholas of Jacksonville, FL, Stephen Martino and his wife Nancy of St. Marys, Christopher Martino of Jacksonville, FL, and Barbra Wilson and her husband James of Cape Coral, FL, 10 grandchildren: James, Ceirra, Austin, Nichole, Tyler, Meranda, Savanah, Brandon, Ethan, and Gavin, and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 siblings: Harry Gardner and his wife June of Ridgway, Mary Gardner of Ridgway, Linda Martinez and her husband Ron of Kersey, and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service of Dixie L. Martino will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Krise Funeral Home, 130 Center Street, Ridgway, PA, 15853.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday at Krise Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
