Diane M. Murphy, 91, of Bradford, PA passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024 at The Grand Residence at Upper St. Clair, Pittsburgh.

She was born on August 1, 1932 in Bradford, a daughter of the late Andrew and Laura Lyons Borman.

She was a 1950 graduate of the former St. Bernard School.

On June 21, 1952 in the St. Bernard Catholic Church she married Cornelius J. “Neil” Murphy who preceded her in death on December 13, 2014.

She was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church.

She was employed by the former Penn Bank for several years and then finally retiring from PNC Bank.

She is survived by one son, David (Sheri) Murphy of Findlay, OH; two daughters, Kathleen (Maurice) Sadowsky of Bear, DE and Debra (Karl) Johnson of Finleyville; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by one sister, Marjorie Borman.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Mascho Funeral Home with a Mass a Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 16, in the St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rev. James Gutting, Senior Associate Pastor, as celebrant.

Burial and committal services will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
