Dennis S. “Denny” Trummer, 69, of Bradford, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at his home after a long illness.
He was born on November 30, 1953 in Salamanca, NY and raised by the late Frederick Stearns and Florence Huff.
He was a 1971 graduate of the former Limestone High School, Limestone, NY; he later earned his CDL license.
On November 30, 2012 in Bradford; he married Joyce M. Richardson who survives.
He was a member of the Lt. John C. Roche Post 212 VFW, American Legion Post 108 and the Bradford Eagles Club. Denny was a talented musician who enjoyed singing and playing the guitar as a member of many local bands over the years.
He was employed as a truck driver for AR Trucking, Warren, for several years until his retirement in 2020.
In addition to his wife of ten years, Joyce Trummer of Bradford he is also survived by two sons, Mike (Kelly) Trummer of Lewis Run and Tom (Amy) Trummer of St. Louis, MO; one daughter, Nicole Kornacki of Bradford; ten grandchildren, Audra (Derreck) Carapellatti of Allegany, NY, Andy Trummer, Jordan Kornacki of Bradford, Blayre Trummer of Bradford, Bailey Westfall of Pittsburgh, Tyler Trummer of St. Louis, MO, Shayne Westfall of Lewis Run, Kory Yale of White Oak, GA, Eian Trummer of St. Louis, MO and Kelsey Yale of White Oak, GA; one great granddaughter, Karsyn Jo Kornacki of Bradford; two brothers, George (Sherry) Trummer of Franklinville, NY and Mike (Virginia) Trummer of Ohio; three sisters, Niki Case of Duke Center, Rhonda (Ron) Munday of Duke Center and Candy Dennison of Bradford; several nieces and nephews and a very special brother of the heart, Dave Clark.
In addition to his parents; he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Paulette, Sherry and Juanita and one step-son, Jason Yale.
At his request there will be no visitation but a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
