Olean- Delores J. Monroe “Loving Mother” 

 Delores J. Monroe of Hamilton Ave passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Olean General Hospital. 

 Delores was born on July 28, 1932, in Olean and was the daughter of Delos and Nellie Garfield Richardson. She married George Monroe who predeceased her. 

 Delores was a former member of the Moose Club. She loved to travel and go to casinos. Above all, Delores loved raising her children and taking care of her family. 

 Delores is survived by her two children, Edgar Monroe of Olean and Deborah Monroe of Olean, a special niece Janet (Terry) Shaw, and many nieces and nephews. 

 Along with her loving husband, Delores was predeceased by her parents, and four siblings, Elmer Foster, Evelyn Stever, Beverly Guile, and Harold Richardson. 

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean. Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
