Daryl John “DJ” Bauer, 65, of Bedford, NH
Daryl John “DJ” Bauer, 65, of Bedford, NH passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8th, 2024.
He was born in St. Mary’s, PA on March 22nd, 1959, to the late Clarence and Phyllis (Ford) Bauer. DJ attended Williamsport Community College and completed his certification in Construction Carpentry.
Most recently, DJ worked as a technician at L3 Harris. Prior to that he worked as a dedicated carpenter and Project Manager for 27 years.
DJ was a man of many interests. He was an avid billiards player and baseball enthusiast as well as a die-hard New England sports fan. He was especially proud to have witnessed the Red Sox end their 86-year World Series drought in 2004. DJ’s passion for sports extended from playing to coaching little league baseball as well as soccer, where he instilled a love of the game in countless young athletes. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; however, most of all he cherished being a Papa to his granddaughters, who he took every opportunity to show off. DJ was someone you could always count on to go out of his way to support your endeavors, and would tell you when he was proud of you.
DJ is survived by his former spouse Linda Bauer, mother of their children Cameron Bauer, his fiancee, Kristin and their daughter Naomi, and Trevor Bauer, his wife, Melanie and their daughter Hazel, his sister, Wanda (Bauer) Gabler and her husband Robert Gabler.
DJ was preceded in death by his parents Clarence “Lefty” Bauer and Phyllis (Ford) Bauer, sister Rebecca “Becky” Towne, and sister Elinor “Nora” Bachelder.
A visitation will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home located at 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack NH on Friday November 15th, 2024, from 4 – 6 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 6, 2024 at at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 315 Church Street, St. Marys, PA 15857.
Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
