Daniel Robert Reuscher, 61, of St. Marys, PA.
Daniel Robert Reuscher, 61, of St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly on June 19, 2024, at Penn Highlands Elk.
He was born October 17, 1962, in St. Marys, son of the late Richard and Mary Lou Brody Reuscher. Dan was a lifelong resident of the area, a graduate of Elk County Christian High School, Class of 1981, as well as a 1985 graduate of St. Bonaventure University. He was an employee of Amphenol Advanced Sensors.
Dan is survived by his son, Garrett Reuscher of Mesa, AZ and Garrettβs mother, Rose Anne Reuscher of St. Marys; his companion, Charlene Fledderman of St. Marys; his sisters: Julie Reuscher of St. Marys, Molly Reuscher of St. Marys, Susan Wittman (Douglas) of St. Marys, and Nancy Godino (Christopher) of Newtown, CT; his brothers: David Reuscher (Mary Meyer) of Treasure Lake and Andrew Reuscher (Donna Dippold) of St. Marys; Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, who affectionately called him βUncle Himβ: Rachel Reuscher Foust and her children, Lukas and Brady; Cassandra Gardner (Adam) and their children, Gatsby and Lennon; Alyssa Reuscher; Brittany Reuscher Wendel and her children, Peyton and Rory; Ben Reuscher; Kylee Proudfit Shirey (Connor) and their son, Rowan; Laira Reuscher; Ryan Wittman; and Eddie, Sam, and Alex Godino.
In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his brother, Kris Reuscher; and by his nephew, Michael Proudfit.
Dan was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, where he was an active volunteer. He was a member of the Sinnemahoning Sportsmenβs Association and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Dan was amazing with kids and enjoyed his time serving as a Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 95. He was also a member of the American Legion. Dan was a handyman who could fix anything, loving remembered as the βgo-to guyβ. Above all, Dan loved time spent with his family and his camp buddies.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Thomas Curry, OSB, Pastor, officiating.
Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
