Daniel R. Tucker, 75, of 588 Ketner Rd., Glen Hazel, PA passed away Thursday morning, August 3, 2023 at LECOM at Presque Isle Rehab and Nursing Center, Erie following a brief illness.

He was born on February 1, 1948 in St. Marys, a son to the late Joseph and Virginia Field Tucker. Daniel grew up in St. Marys and attended Elk County Christian High School. On September 8, 1984 in Ridgway, he married Mary Ann Field and she survives.

He as a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and the St. Marys Moose Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his dogs and tending to his garden. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

Daniel had worked at Airco-Speer in St. Marys for 30 until his retirement in 1994. He had also worked previously at Stackpole Carbon Co. in St. Marys for several years.

Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife Mary Ann at home, his children; Michael Tucker of St. Marys, Ray Tucker of Wilcox, Michelle, Mrs. David Albert of Penfield, Amy Titus of St. Marys, Wendy Tucker and companion David Schrum of St. Marys, Courtney, Mrs. Donald Henry of Falls Creek, Brooke, Mrs. Richard Spaulding of Brockport and Cheyenne, Mrs. Robin Schindley of DuBois. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Justin Gerg, Miranda Hanes, Sara Garcia, John and Electra Henry and Nigel Park, a sister, Jean Lewis of St. Marys and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Daniel is predeceased by a daughter Margaret Diem, brothers Olin and Joseph Tucker and a sister Virginia “Sissy” Ferris. 

Funeral Services and Interment for Daniel R. Tucker will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation.
