At 1:58 PM on Monday, Belfast Fire Dept. was dispatched to a grass fire at 5841 Gleason Hill Road. Additional units have been dispatched to assist with this fire.

At 2:30 PM on Monday, Andover Fire Dept. has been dispatched to assist Greenwood with a wildfire at 2671 Rogers Road.

Spring like weather has caused fire danger conditions to exist that we don’t normally see until later in March & April. It’s best to avoid burning trash until the area is dampened by showers.
