Coudersport Area Lions Club Adopt A Highway Litter Pick Up
In an effort to improve our environment and clean up our local roadways, the Lions Club heads outdoors twice a year to pick up litter along our designated stretch of Route 6. The Lions were granted a beautiful fall day on October 20, 2024 to accomplish this task and help our local community. The Lions Club meets the first Monday of each month at 5:30 PM in the Coudersport Volunteer Ambulance Association Meeting Hall. The Lions support & serve many worthwhile global and local causes including the recycle center, area food banks, eye care for local residents, the local Salvation Army Kettle Bell campaign, the Strawberry Festival, God’s Country Marathon, the Coudersport Volunteer Fireman’s Appreciation Dinner, and more. If you are interested in joining the Lions Club, please come out to one of our meetings or contact our president, Steve Erway at sferway@gmail.com.
