Catherine M. Cuneo, 76, of Buffalo and formerly of Hemlock Road, St. Marys, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo.

She was born April 21, 1948 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Victor E. and Mary Margaret Henkel Marconi.  Cathy was a lifelong resident of the area and was a retired office manager for PennDOT.

On August 14, 1976 in the Sacred Heart Church, Cathy married the late Charles J. Cuneo, who preceded her in death on July 21, 2013.

She is survived by her two sons, James Cuneo of St. Marys and Thomas Cuneo of Buffalo; three grandchildren: Morgan, Christian, and Abagail; her brother, David Marconi (Cindy) of St. Marys; her sister, Joanne Marconi of Buffalo; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Cathy was preceded in death by two sisters in infancy, Mary Anna and Mary Grace Marconi.

Cathy enjoyed crocheting and making blankets for her family, especially baby blankets.  She also enjoyed reading, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren.  In her younger years, Cathy was a Girl Scout leader, a religious class teacher, and was an active participant in the Keep PA Beautiful program.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Sacred Heart Church on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 10:30AM, with the Rev. Thomas Curry, O.S.B. officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday morning from 9:00AM until 10:00AM.
