No Injuries In One Vehicle Crash On Tioga River Rd. In Lawrence Twp.


On Friday at approximately 4:00 P.M., Troopers out of SP Olean responded to Community Bank, N.A., 3074 State Route 417 in the town of Allegany for a bank robbery. The suspect(s) fled the scene before law enforcement arrived. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Forensic Identification Unit are responding to continue this investigation. No injuries at this time.
This is an ongoing criminal investigation.

Update to Police Incident in Town of Allegany (Catt.):
Confirmed Armed Bank Robbery at 3074 State Route 417 (Community Bank).
1 Shot was Fired inside the Bank during the Robbery. No Bystanders were Injured.
Active Searches are Underway in the Immediate & Surrounding Areas.

Around 10:50, Station 10 and Ambulance 10 were called to the area of 150 W. Main St. for a one-car MVA. Chief 10-10 arrived on scene finding one truck off the roadway sheered into a pole. Squad 10 responded and set up traffic control. There were thankfully no injuries. Ambulance 10 was able to return and respond to another call. Assisted on scene by PSP & Flickerwood Towing.

MANCHESTER, N.Y. — Two people have been arrested in Ontario County for a buying a $30,000 hunting trip with funds they didn’t have.
Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies say Deborah and David Cass bought a guided hunting trip through a Manchester business for more than $30,000. After the hunting trip, officers learned the payment was rejected for insufficient funds.
The couple was charged with forgery and grand larceny. They’ve been released and will appear in Manchester Town Court at a later date.
