No Injuries And Minor Damage In Two Vehicle Crash On N. Main St. In Coudersport Borough

Wellsville Police arrested Brandon J. Spohn, age 23 of Belmont, charging him with Grand Larceny 3rd (Class D Felony) and 10 Counts of Falsifying Business Records 1st (Class E Felony).
The charges stem from an investigation into thefts that took place at the Marathon on North Main Street between July of 2023 and August of 2023.
Spohn was processed and arraigned before Town of Wellsville Justice Graves. Spohn was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on February 6th at 4:30 pm.
(MCKEAN COUNTY, Pennsylvania; January 18, 2024): District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer reports that, following a two-day jury trial at the McKean County Courthouse, Andrew Baker, of Eldred, was convicted of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Strangulation, Simple Assault and harassment.
He was found not guilty of an additional count of simple assault and terroristic threats. Testimony at the trial included that of a man and woman from Eldred who testified that Baker had been in a romantic relationship with the woman at the time of the crime. On June 17, 2023, he came to the woman’s house and assaulted the man with a glass device by smashing the device over the man’s head, causing it to shatter. Baker then put the man in a chokehold until he fell unconscious. After the man came to, he realized he was bleeding profusely from his back and realized that the defendant had stabbed him with a shard of glass that was on the floor from the glass device that had shattered.
