Multiple Drug Possession Arrests In McKean County

Wellsville Police arrested Priscilla J. Armstrong, age 41 of Wellsville, charging her with Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Class A Misdemeanor).
The charge stems from an incident that took place on South Brooklyn Avenue.
Armstrong was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. Armstrong is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 21st at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the Wellsville Village Court, arrested Devon C. O’Hara, age 29 of Wellsville, for failure to appear in Wellsville Village Court on December 5th on a previous Petit Larceny Charge.
O’Hara was additionally charged with Bail Jumping 3rd (Class A Misdemeanor) and Resisting Arrest (Class A Misdemeanor) while being taken into custody on the Bench Warrant. O’Hara was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. O’Hara was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $2,000.00 cash bail or $5,000.00 property bond or $20,000.00 partially secured bond. O’Hara is due back in Wellsville Village Court on May 21st at 4:30 pm.
On May 14th, 2024 at approximately 2025 hrs, City of Bradford Police apprehended Lynsey A. Brown on North Bennett Street. Brown was a wanted fugitive out of New York State on felony theft charges. Magistrate Engman arraigned Brown and remanded her to McKean County Jail on $100,000 cash bail. Brown will await extradition back to New York to face charges.
On May 14th, 2024, at approximately 9:30AM, following an investigation by the Cuba Police Department Narcotics Unit, Cuba Police arrested Brady M. Smith (32) of Olean, NY. Smith was arrested after a Grand Jury issued an indictment warrant on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th ( 2 Counts, Felonies) and criminal sale of a controlled substance 5th (2 Counts, Felonies). Smith was processed, and sent to the Allegany County Jail on no bail. Smith is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. These charges stem from the alleged sale of methamphetamine in the Town and Village of Cuba. The Narcotics Unit was assisted by the Allegany County District Attorney’s Office, Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and the Olean Police Department.

On May 2nd, 2024 City of Bradford Police conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Bradford. One of the occupants was identified as Stephanie Kay Ohara. Police determined Ohara was a Fugitive from Justice having an active County Bench Warrant from a prior case. Ohara was taken into custody and transported to McKean County Jail.

On May 3rd, 2024 at approximately 1057 hrs, City of Bradford Police conducted a search at 79 High Street in Bradford. This was a vacant property which had been placarded by Code Enforcement as a property not fit for occupation. The search yielded two adult males found inside the property trespassing. One of the males was identified as Jacob Levi Miller. It was determined that Miller was a wanted fugitive from Pennsylvania State Parole for absconding. Miller was taken into custody and transferred to Pennsylvania State Parole Agents for re-incarceration.

On May 6th, 2024 City of Bradford Police located Zachary Michael Koch walking on West Corydon Street while on patrol. Officers knew Koch to have an active bench warrant from the McKean County Sheriffs Department and subsequently stopped him and took him into custody. Koch was taken to the McKean County Jail.

On May 5th, 2024 at approximately 1:02AM, following a motor vehicle accident, Cuba Police arrested Matthew J. Maynard (24) of Olean, NY. Maynard was arrested on charges of moved from lane unsafely (Violation), operating a motor vehicle while unlicensed (Violation), operating a motor vehicle without an inspection (Violation) and operating a motor vehicle while impaired by a drug (Misdemeanor). Maynard was processed and released to appear at a later date. Maynard is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Wellsville Police arrested Kyle H. Lunn, age 28 of Richburg, charging him with Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor). The charge stems from an incident that took place on South Main Street on March 21st.
Lunn was also arrested on a Bench Warrant for failure to appear in Wellsville Village Court on April 2nd on previous Fleeing a Police Officer in a motor vehicle and other vehicle and traffic charges. Lunn was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson.
Lunn was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $5,000.00 cash bail or $10,000.00 property bond or $20,000.00 partially secured bond. Lunn is due back in Wellsville Village Court on May 7th at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police arrested Robert D. McMorris, age 64 of Wellsville, charging him with Public Lewdness (Class B Misdemeanor) and Disorderly Conduct (Violation). The charges stem from an incident that took place on North Main Street. McMorris was issued an appearance ticket and released. McMorris is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 21st at 4:30 pm.
On April 24th, 2024 at approximately 2:57PM, following a month long investigation, Cuba Police arrested James M. Higby (37) of Olean, NY. Higby was arrested on charges of petit larceny (Misdemeanor) and scheme to defraud (Felony).
Higby was processed, placed in front of a judge and released to appear at a later date. Higby is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On April 24th, 2024 at approximately 1:00PM, following a report of a domestic dispute, Cuba Police arrested Corey M. Glover (37) of Cuba, NY. Glover was arrested on charges of harassment 2nd (Violation). Glover was processed, placed in front of a judge and released to appear at a later date. Glover is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
