Kenneth W. Wieder “beloved father, faithful servant of the Lord”
SHINGLEHOUSE, PA—Kenneth W. Wieder, 89, of Shinglehouse, formerly of Perkasie, went to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday, February 1, 2024, in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, after a long illness.
Born on Monday, December 3, 1934 in Lenark, he was a son of William H. and Pauline Lapp Wieder. On April 23, 1960, he married Kay F. Lesh, who went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2016.
Ken was a graduate of Allentown (PA) High School. He honorably served in the US Air Force. He was employed at the former Hysol Company in Olean, NY.
He was a member of Grace Bible Independent Baptist Church in Shinglehouse, where he was active in the Seedline Scripture Ministries program. A gifted singer, Ken sang in the church choir. He was faithful in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. His favorite verse was Ephesians 2: 8,9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast”.
