Richard Lee Atwell, age 82, of Troy, PA, formerly of Covington, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Bradford County Manor in Troy, PA.
He was born on September 15, 1940, in Westfield, PA, a son of Floyd Atwell, Jr. and Edna (Brown) Atwell. Richard was the husband of the late Vallie Atwell.
He worked in maintenance at PennDOT, and enjoyed playing the accordion, guns, cats and dogs.
Richard is survived by his brother, Daniel (Guangyu) Atwell of Westfield, PA; his sister, Janice Brooks of Westfield, PA; nephews Aaron Atwell, Adam Atwell, Alex Atwell, Tylor Cochra; nieces Angela Dunlap, Karie Price, Shawn Lapp, Paisley Neidig and his beloved canine companion, Bridget.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Vallie.
A private family service will be held at a later date.

Martha Lucille Knepper, 81, of Erie Avenue, St. Marys, PA passed away, Friday, March 31, 2023, at Penn Highlands Elk.
She was born September 4, 1941, in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late Maurice and Alberta Heiberger. Martha was a lifelong resident of the area, attended Johnsonburg and St. Marys schools, and was employed by Elcam as an operator.
On September 9, 1972 in Cresson, PA, Martha married the late Raymond B. Knepper, who preceded her in death on October 24, 2010.
She is survived by her sisters Anna Mae Krug of Clearfield and Marlene Wilson of St. Marys; her nieces and nephews; and by her many cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, Martha was preceded in death by her brothers, Norman and Allen Heiberger.
Martha was a member of the Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed Bingo, bowling, Cornhole, and coloring. She participated in the Special Olympics where she won several medals and was very proud of her accomplishments. She found the most joy spending time with her family especially her cousins during all family gatherings.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 with the Rev. Thomas Curry, OSB, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

James Curtis Smith, 75, of 165 Wrenwood Way, Greenback, TN and a former Little Genesee, NY resident passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at the Hospice of Western Reserve, Cleveland, Ohio, following a lengthy illness.
Born on March 23, 1948 in Olean, he was the son of Paul B. and Geraldine Stone Smith. Jim married Henrietta J. Speta in 1966 in Scio; she preceded him in death on September 11, 1977. On June 10, 1978, he married Kathleen Krusey in Monroeville, PA. Mrs. Smith survives.
Jim was a graduate of Bolivar Central School class of 1966. Jim was employed as a machinist by Dresser Rand Co. of Wellsville from 1967-2013. An avid NASCAR/Rusty Wallace fan, Jim was a car buff since before he was old enough to drive. He was an accomplished auto body repairman and took great pride in his cars and trucks.
His fondest memories of his teenage years were his antics with great friends and brothers in Kossuth, plus time he spent in the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corp. He loved working outside to keep his home looking the best it could be, as long as it involved equipment in John Deere green. He loved his family unconditionally, including fur kids past and present.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his mother, Geraldine Wood Bolivar; three children, Michelle L. Reynolds, Richburg, Patricia A. Allen, Leesburg, FL and Duane C. Smith, Clifton Springs, NY; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Linda (Skip) Benjamin, Bolivar, Carol Perrin, Palm Harbor, FL and Nancy Borrino, Webster, NY; one brother David (Kathi Winecker) Smith, Flemington, NJ; step-sister Brenda (Roger) Olmstead, Cuba NY; step-brothers, Dale Wood, Saginaw, TX, Merle Wood, Greeley, CO, Bruce (Amy Nielsen) Wood, Davenport, IA and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas H. Smith, step-brother Phillip Wood, and step-father Carlton Wood.
At Jim’s request services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Bolivar.

Bernice Wallon Welch, 92, of Eldred, PA passed away Thursday (March 30, 2023).
She was a daughter of Joseph and Anna Wallon, born May 20, 1930, in Olean, N.Y., residing in Eldred since 1960.
She was a graduate of Olean High School, class of 1948, and Sisters of Charity School of Nursing, Buffalo, N.Y., class of 1952. After nursing school, she and three classmates moved to California to work. She later returned to Olean to work at several local hospitals.
On Aug. 20, 1955, at Transfiguration Church in Olean, she married Dr. John Preston Welch Jr., who predeceased her on Aug. 23, 1996.
Bernice was selfless with family, friends, church, and community. She was proud of her Polish heritage and would offer a shot of Krupnik to any willing visitor. She loved to travel and her favorite travel memories were trips to see Pope John Paul II. We’re pretty sure she is now dancing the polka with St. John Paul II as she always wanted.
Bernice was a member of St Raphael’s Church and Altar Rosary Society, Eldred Nurses Association, Eldred Red Hatted Rebels, Pulaski Club of Olean.
She is survived by daughters, Pat Welch, Kathy (Rick) Markey, Jackie (Perry) Burdick, and Mo (Tim) Raught; 14 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marion Pockalny, Jenny (Ray) Borowski, and Joan (Tom) Kaydos, all of Olean, N.Y.; a sister-in-law, Mary Katherine Valentinelli of Dryden, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
Bernice was predeceased by daughter Dr. Ann Welch and sons Michael “Doc” Welch and John Welch, and her parents.

Helen M. Brunecz, 92, of Kinzua Nursing Home, passed away on Thursday March 30, 2023, at UPMC Hamot Hospital, Erie, PA.
Helen was born April 2nd, 1930, the daughter of the late Barzill and Esther (Beck) Dyer. She lived 65 years on a farm in Sugar Grove, PA where she shared nearly 60 years with her loving husband the late Carl L. Brunecz. Helen enjoyed working in her vegetable and flower gardens, loved to read and her biggest enjoyment was walking on the farm.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Dyer, a sister Evelyn Austin, a daughter Cindy Jarbeck, and a grandson Michael Morgan.

Frank J. Scarpino, also known as Fabulous Frank, 69, of Orchard Park, N.Y. and formerly of Warren, PA., slept peacefully from this life to his eternal home, Monday, March 6, 2023. Frank was born January 31, 1954, in Jamestown, New York. He was the son of Carl and Josephine Rosella Scarpino.
He was a 1972 graduate of Jamestown High School and a graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Frank was a Warren resident for over 20 years, and then lived in Orchard Park, N.Y. for over 20 years. Over the years, he was owner and operator of the former Classy Closet specialty clothing store, The Willows Bed & Breakfast, Extra Extras Consignment Shop and Gifted Images all operated in Warren, PA., He also owned and rented out numerous costumes for Halloween and special events. He also was formerly employed as a furniture salesman with Ashley Home Store in Orchard Park, N.Y.
Frank was active in local theatres where he created overall costume designs. He was an active member and friend of the Imperial Court of Buffalo where he enjoyed attending their Imperial Masquerade ICP Ball.
Frank can be remembered by many friends whom he loved to talk and spend time with. He was a fashion icon, and once told a friend, “Life is too short not to wear the expensive jewelry and vintage glasses.” He was a man full of love and life. He truly made everything both special and beautiful. Frank lit up every room he walked into to.
He is survived by his loving daughter whom he dearly loved and spoke of often, Erin Scarpino, Son-In-Law Francisco Almonte and Granddaughter, Valentina Almonte of Secaucus, N.J., Brother, 3 Sisters, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his, parents, he was preceded in death by his longtime partner and best friend, David Simmons who died March 3, 2022.

David Lawrence Hildebrand, 68, of Warren, PA passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023, after an extended illness.
David was born on February 22, 1955, the son of the late Merle and Annella (Flecher) Hildebrand in New Castle, PA. After graduating from New Castle High School in 1973 he went on to study City Planning at Penn State and Indiana College of Pennsylvania. After graduation, he landed his first jobs as a City Planner for Virginia and Texas, kicking off a career in City Planning. He was the Director of Planning and Development for the City of Warren for 29 years before retiring in 2021.
He met Donna Avellino Young, and they married in 2003. Together they have three children. Anne Hildebrand (Mike Aranda) of Boston, MA; Tim Hildebrand and his wife Brittany Luna of Philadelphia, PA; and Scott Young of Buffalo, NY. After retiring David spent time on his hobbies of books and gardening.

Bobby S. D. Wray, Sr. “beloved father, fiance`, son, and brother”
Bobby S. D. Wray, Sr., 36, of Wellsville, formerly of Bolivar and a former longtime resident of Galliapolis, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
Born on Friday, February 27, 1987 in Augusta, Georgia, he was a son of Charles L. “Charlie” Wray and Stephanie L. Cramer.
Bobby was a graduate of Hannan Trace High School in Crown City, Ohio, he also attended Buckeye Hills Career Center in Rio Grande, Ohio, where he studied and became certified in heating and cooling technology.
He was employed at Save A Lot in Wellsville.
He enjoyed working on cars, tattooing, and riding his motorcycle. Left to cherish his memory are fiancee`, Jennifer Porter, who he deeply loved and had planned to marry on April 20, 2023; his father Charles “Charlie” Wray and stepmother, Dianna Wray of Jackson, Ohio; his mother and stepfather, Stephanie Cramer and Kim Hess of Little Genesee; six children, Hannah Barcus, Alexis Wray, Jayden Wray, Sydney Wray, and Joseph Wray, all of Galliapolis, Ohio, and Bobby S. D. Wray, Jr. of Wellsville; two sisters, Jennifer (Joseph) Walker of Hornell and Melissa (Ira) Turner of Patriot, Ohio; four brothers, Scott Wargo and Cody Wargo, both of Buffalo, Adam (Rachel) Wray of Galliapolis, Ohio, and Nathan (Summer) Karns of Bolivar; and many nieces and nephews.

Betty C. Pfohl, 95, of Beechwood, passed away March 28, 2023, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Betty was born July 23, 1927, in Bradford, a daughter of the late John Paul and Julia Jones. She lived in Bradford at 120 Jackson Avenue for most of her youth along with her three sisters, Nancy, Shirley and Judy.
Summers were spent at Chautauqua Institution in NY. It was there Betty met her first husband Wayne Nelson from Columbus Ohio. They married soon after Betty’s graduation from Oberlin College.
Betty and Wayne moved to Orchard Park, NY, to live in a house designed and built by Wayne. There they raised three children, Scott Nelson, Christine “Tina” Nelson-Scherman and Grant Nelson. Eventually the family moved to Maryland. All the while Betty, Wayne and the children continued to spend summers at Chautauqua Institution. The children grew up and moved on leaving Betty and Wayne the opportunity to pursue their own adventures. Upon Wayne’s retirement they traveled extensively throughout the United States and took a few trips overseas. They finally settled in Mayville, NY near Chautauqua Institution in a charming, renovated schoolhouse and became much involved with the Chautauqua community.
Following Wayne’s death January 7, 1999, Betty continued to live in Mayville until Pete Pfohl, a high school beau from Bradford, came back into her life. They were married August 1, 2007, and lived in Bradford in the Pfohl family home, Beechwood. Pete died December 22, 2017, leaving Betty to live at beautiful Beechwood for most of the rest of her life. Now her spirit has passed on to be much missed and remembered with love.

John A. Servidea, Jr., 87, of Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Marys, and formerly of 101 N. Mill St., Ridgway and Main Street, Johnsonburg, died Wednesday night, March 29, 2023 at Elk Haven following a brief illness.
He was born on June 28, 1935 in Johnsonburg a son to the late John A. Servidea, Sr. and Elbina Jovenitti Servidea. On January 14, 1967 in Kane, PA he married Doris E. O’Lay. She preceded him in death on July 6, 1988.
John lived most of his life in Johnsonburg, having lived the past 4 years at Elk Haven and had lived in Ridgway for 10 years. He was a 1954 graduate of Johnsonburg High School and was a member of Holy Rosary Church and was a member of several social clubs in Ridgway. John loved to fish and hunt and excelled at his post-retirement hobby of wood carving. He was also an accomplished bowler. He had retired in 1997 from MPP after many years of service.
John is survived by his grandsons Jaryd Servidea and fiancé Corrinne and Austin Servidea both of Penfield and great-grandsons Elliott and Kayson Servidea. He is also survived by his siblings Roselyn Simchick of Reading, Sister Angela Marie, SSJ of Johnsonburg, Richard “Dick” Servidea and his wife Nancy of Johnsonburg, Mary Ann Schatz and her husband James of St. Marys and Jackie Servidea of Portsmouth, OH. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents and wife, John is predeceased by his son Mark Servidea, step-daughters Patricia Shields and Sue Villella, a brother Bobby and a brother Joseph in infancy.
A Mass of Christian Burial for John A. Servidea, Jr. will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg on Saturday April 1, 2023 at 11:30 AM with Fr. David Wilson, Pastor as celebrant. Interment will be private in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Ruth M. Mascioni, 89, of Parkside Drive, Limestone, NY passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Olean General Hospital, with her husband at her side.
Born December 24, 1933, in Myrtle, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Grace (Brown) Gross. She was a 1950 graduate of Otto Eldred High School.
On January 25, 1974, in Eldred she married John A. Mascioni who survives.
Ruth had been employed at Cutco Cutlery in Olean, NY, and Corning Glass in Bradford.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, doing seamstress work, and working in her flower gardens.
Surviving is her husband John, of nearly 50 years, along with three daughters, Barbara (Chris) Burkhouse, of Bradford, Christine (Bill) Gibble, of Bradford, and Jodi Auteri, of Frederick MD, one son, John Mascioni Jr., of Bradford, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Helen Marcellin and Mary Pope and two brothers, Richard and Larry Gross.
Friends will be invited to attend a memorial service to be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Mikie D. Plaster, 80, of Olson Street, Ridgway, PA died on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Penn Highlands Dubois following a brief illness.
She was born on September 3, 1942, in Denison, TX, a daughter of the late Juanita Fitch Bass.
On August 15, 1959, she married the late Bruce A. Plaster, who preceded her in death on April 4, 2017.
Mikie was a resident of the area for many years and a member of St. Loe Church. She worked many years at the Pennsy Restaurant and the Oasis. Mikie spent her time watching WWE, knitting, playing bingo, and going to the casino. She loved her family, and cherished her time she got to spend with her grandchildren.
Mikie is survived by 3 children; Debra A. Howard of Ridgway, Craig A. Plaster and his wife Debra of Reidsville, NC, and Lisa Plaster of Orchard Park, NY, 5 grandchildren; Brandy (Doug), Brianna, Connor, Amanda, and Morgan, and 3 great grandchildren; Hunter, Madisyn, and Emma. She is also survived by a brother, Jerry Landers of Denison, TX, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and mother, she was preceded in death by a step father, Clifford “Jack” Bass, 2 brothers, Homer and J.W Landers.

Born October 4, 1931 in Rexville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Merle and Mabel (York) Greene.
Eleanor loved to crochet, bake, dance and read. She enjoyed softball games at the ball park in Elkland and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Douglas E. “Doug” Hyde, 77, of Genesee, PA passed away in his home with his loving wife by his side on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, after a long illness.
Born on Friday, March 15, 1946 in Olean, N.Y., he was a son of L. Earl and Margaret L. Dunshie Hyde. On October 9, 1982 in the Genesee United Methodist Church, he married Linda A. Dunn, who survives.
Doug attended Oswayo Valley High School in Shinglehouse and also attended trade school (now Pennsylvania College of Technology) in Williamsport for heavy equipment operator. He also attended the former Breeden School of Welding in Genesee.
He was first employed as a welder at the former Felmont Agway in Olean, N.Y. and later was employed at Air-Preheater in Wellsville, N.Y., for a total of 13 years. Doug’s true passion was that of a logger and trucker.
A life member of the American Trap Shooting Association, Doug enjoyed going to state shoots in Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio. He won the Eastern Zone Singles Championship several years ago. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Linda; five children, Christine (Bruce) Fink of Coudersport, Allen Hyde of Barneveld, N.Y., David Hyde of Eleven Mile Road, Joshua Hyde of Wellsville, N.Y., and Holly (Justin) Kibbe of Troy, Pa.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Fran Stilson of Sharon Center; a brother, Don (Pat) Hyde of Millport; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Doug was predeceased by three sisters, Barbara Van Pelt, Virginia “Ginger” Sturdevant, and Patricia Todd.
Family and friends may call from 11am to 12 noon on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Chrystal United Methodist Church, Eleven Mile Road, Chrystal, where funeral services will follow at 12 noon with Pastor Fred Kemp of the Potter County Baptist Church, officiating. Dawn Sikes Rodriguez, 48, of 11 Summit Rd., Rew, PA, formerly of Olean, passed away Tuesday (March 28, 2023) at the Olean General Hospital, after an unexpected illness.
Born March 1, 1975, she was the daughter of Gerald Sikes, Sr. and Rosalie Knight Sikes. On November 18, 2016 she married Alex Ortiz Rodriguez who survives.
Dawn attended school in Olean and resided with her husband in Rew for the past few years. She will be remembered by family and friends as a loving person who helped others. She loved taking care of her family and her home, and opened it up to anyone who needed care.
She leaves behind her loving husband Alex; 1 daughter Joy Sikes of Olean; 2 sons Gage Rodriguez of Pennsylvania, and David Lovelace of Port Allegany, PA; 1 grandson, Keaven Sikes; her siblings Donna VanCuren of Allegany, Barbara Williams of Pennsylvania, Nancy Cornelius of Clarksville, Linda (Leslie) Kameck of Cuba, and Steven (Bobbie Jo) Sikes of Olean; 1 stepson Jonnie Burke of Bradford, PA, and several nieces, and nephews, including Nevaeh Sikes of Ohio.
She was predeceased by her parents, and 2 brothers Gerald R. Sikes, Jr., and Robert VanCuren .
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday (April 15, 2023) from 11am to 12:30pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd., Olean. A memorial service will begin at 12:30pm in the funeral home.

Joseph Barrile, 95, of North Street, Limestone, NY passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at The Pines of Machias, in Machias, NY.
Born November 16, 1927, in Limestone, he was one of 14 children to the late Antonio and Vetta (Policastro) Barrile. He attended Limestone High School.
Joe served in the Merchant Marines from 1944 to 1946.
On May 15, 1948, in St. Patrick Church in Limestone, he married Mary “Isabelle” (Osborne) Barrile who died March 11, 2013.
Joe worked at Boviard & Seafang for 25 years, then opened his own plumbing business, Barrile Plumbing. He along with his son’s then started B&B Plumbing and Heating. He also owned and operated Joe’s Liquor Store in Limestone.
He was a former member of St. Patrick Church, and a current member of St. Francis Church. He was a former member of the Black Panthers Drum and Bugle Corp. He was a member of the Limestone Volunteer Fire Department, Limestone Sportsman’s Club. He served as a Supervisor and Councilman for the Town of Carrolton for many years.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Barrile, and Connie (Jim) Truby, all of Bradford, three sons, Larry (Lorraine) Barrile, of Limestone, Alan (Tracy) Barrile, of Albion NY, and John Barrile, of Limestone, five grandchildren, Christopher, Patrick, Timothy, Katlin, and A.J., eight great grandchildren, Amaya, Dominic, Sophia, Cade, Kaylie, Terrance, Ruby, and Rio, one great-great grandson, Grayson, one sister, Vicki (Jim) Champlin, of Limestone, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Isabelle of over 65 years, one granddaughter, Jamie Lynn, six sisters, Angie Whiteman, Rose Updegrove, Mary Merritt, Jennie Reed, Grace Barrile, and Camilla Rouse, also six brothers, John, Patrick, John, Dominic, Frank, and Anthony.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 11 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, with Rev. John Jacquel, Pastor as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Limestone.

On the morning of March 28th, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Patricia Mazzu passed peacefully away at the age of 89. She had almost reached 90 and had recently celebrated her 71st wedding anniversary with her husband, James.
David L. Danielson, 83, of Clarendon, PA, passed away on Wednesday March 29, 2023, in his home after a brief illness.
He was born in Kane, on July 8, 1939, the son of the late Milton and Doris Pierson Danielson. David was a graduate of Sheffield High School. He retired from Osram-Sylvania as a laborer after 37 years of service. David enjoyed birdwatching, horse pulls, and people watching. He was a simple man that just enjoyed life, and loved his dear wife, Sandra.
He married Sandra J. Danielson, and they spent 55 loving years together before her passing, on July 11, 2014.
David is survived by his loving daughters, Donna L. Spencer and husband Phil of Warren, PA, and Bonnie R. Reynolds and husband Brian of Youngsville, PA; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and one brother Kirby Danielson and his wife of Georgia.
In addition to his parents and wife David was preceded in death by his wife’s parents Howard and Rose Kipp; one daughter Stacey Boutelle; brother Milton Douglas Daniels; and sister Karen Szarowicz.

John H. Abrams, 74, 0f Fairground Rd., Gifford, PA passed away on Monday (March 27th,2023) at the Hamot Medical Center in Erie, surrounded by his family.
Born January 11th, 1949 in Bradford he was a son of Harvey and Patricia Smith Abrams. On March 29th, 1968 he married Linda McCleary, who survives.
He was a 1967 graduate of Limestone High School and had resided in Gifford ever since.
John spent the early part of his career as an over the road truck driver for many local companies, he then went to work for ARG in Bradford where he worked for many years until retiring in 2015.
Mr. Abrams was a member of the John Deer Tractor Club. He greatly enjoyed hobby farming and horseback riding, and also was quite a talented singer and guitar player and especially enjoyed playing Johnny Cash songs. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty-five years are one son, Jason (Robin Hewitt) Abrams of Gifford; two daughters, Lisa (Mark) Burdick of Mt. Jewett, and Laura (Mike) DeCasper of Athens, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Blayke Geer (Eric), Tyler Burdick (Abby), Jacob Abrams (Brooke) and Zach Abrams; as well as four brothers, Mike, Rod, Mark, Matt Abrams and one sister, Gayle Van Aulen.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Abrams.
As per John’s request there will be no public services held, private services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.

William K. Dickerson “beloved father and grandfather”
William K. “Bill” Dickerson, 94, of Shinglehouse, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, after a long illness.
Born on Sunday, March 10, 1929 in Olean, N.Y., he was a son of Harold J. and Edith LaDue Dickerson. On February 13, 1949 in Bolivar, N.Y., he married Theo A. Richardson, who passed away on August 21, 2022, after 73 years of wedded bliss.
Bill attended the Chrystal Country School, the Sharon Center County School, and the Millport Country School. For many years Bill was employed by Acme Electric in Allegany, N.Y. and also worked for Air-Preheater in Wellsville, N.Y. He was a lifelong farmer, running the family farm.
Bill was a member of the former Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Shinglehouse. He served on the Board of Directors of the Maple Grove Cemetery Association in Shinglehouse, and was a member and past president of the Oswayo Valley Historical Society in Shinglehouse. He loved woodworking and enjoyed his model trains, having donated a train he made which is on display in the Oswayo Valley Memorial Library in Shinglehouse. In his younger years, he enjoyed deer hunting. His greatest love was his family.
Left to cherish his memory are seven children, Lila Curry of Genesee, Karl (Ronda) Dickerson of Eleven Mile Road, Carolyn (Dave) Gustin of Shinglehouse, Earl (Sharon) Dickerson of Shinglehouse, Don (Judy) Dickerson of Eleven Mile Road, Rod (Kim) Dickerson of Eleven Mile Road, and Bradley (Carla) Dickerson of McConnellsburg; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Lowell “Tom” (Cecelia) Dickerson of Shinglehouse; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Bill was predeceased by a daughter, Lois Maryette Duell; five grandchildren, Shellia Duell, Andrew Nelson, Melissa Drake, Jessica Dickerson, and William “Billy” Dickerson; one great-grandchild, Dawson Mesler; four brothers, Edward Dickerson, Jerald Dickerson, Robert Dickerson, and Orin Dickerson; a sister, Betty Linza; and three sons-in-law, Ed Curry, Buck Drake, and Chester “Bill” Duell; and a daughter-in-law, Susan Dickerson.

Karen L. Kornacki, 71, of Bradford, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the Buffalo General Medical Center, Buffalo, NY.
She was born on June 3, 1951 in Bradford, a daughter of Caroline Pinkerton Greek and the late Alvia Greek.
She was a 1969 graduate of the former Limestone School, Limestone, NY and she earned her degree in cosmetology from BOCES, Olean, NY.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Bradford. She enjoyed going to the Bradford Family YMCA and swimming and she loved to sew and make items for her friends and family.
She was employed by the former Corning Electronics, Bradford, for several years prior to moving to Lancaster. While in Lancaster she worked for the QVC shopping channel before moving back to Bradford. Throughout her life she was also a hairdresser; working for herself and for others.
In addition to her mother, Caroline Maben of Limestone she is also survived by three sons, David (June Schuppenhauer) Kornacki, Steven Kornacki and Michael Kornacki all of Bradford; five sisters, Shirley (John) Morris of Pittsburgh, Connie (Jim) Cramer of Bradford, Susan (Larry) Eberly of Limestone, Debra (Bryan) Woods of Limestone and Michele Myers of Limestone; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father; she was also preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Greek and her stepfather, John Maben.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
Private burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.

Margaret R. “Peggy” Marconi, 99, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of Joseph Road, St. Marys, PA died on Monday, March 27, 2023.
She was born on August 22, 1923 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late to Philip H. and Maryetta Virginia Miller Dougherty. She was the second of 7 children and was the last surviving member of her family.
Peggy attended the Holy Rosary School in Johnsonburg and graduated from the Johnsonburg High School in 1942.
She married Edward Sporner who preceded her in death and then married John Marconi Jr. on May 3, 1951 who also preceded her in death. She worked At Stackpole Carbon Company during WW II and later was joint owner of the John Marconi Trucking business until John’s retirement.
Peggy belonged to the C.D.A., Altar Society for over 50 years and was secretary- recorder of the local Catholic Knights of St. George/ William Penn Association.
She had a life dream of becoming a teacher, but became caregiver for her younger siblings after both parents died while she was still a teenager.
At her stay at Pinecrest, she won the hearts of many who cared for her. She will be remembered by those who knew her for her wit, generosity and willingness to help and teach others.
She is survived by an adopted son Stephen J. Marconi and his wife; Marilyn of Daguscahonda, and by four grandchildren; Theresa (Matthew Wilson), Michael, Melinda and Nicholas Marconi.
In addition to her first and second husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters; Frances Brody, Alice Berryhill, Bertha Ehredt and her brothers Philip as a child, James Edward, Eugene and Raymond Dougherty.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret “Peggy” Marconi will be celebrated on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Fr. Thomas Curry, OSB, as celebrant.
Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Tyler J. Wilt, 26, of Clarence Street, Bradford, PA passed away Monday, March 27, 2023.
Born May 18, 1996, in Bradford, he was a son of William J. Wilt, and Jennifer (McNinch) Cabisca.
Tyler was a 2014 graduate of Bradford High School. He later attended the Pittsburgh Technical School for welding.
He was formerly employed at the Bradford Gun Club, Dairy Queen, Arby’s, the Smoke Shop, Nature’s Design Landscaping, and Georgia Pacific.
Tyler loved to go hunting, camping, four wheeling and riding dirt bikes. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his parents, William (Karen) Wilt, Jennifer (George) Cabisca, three stepsisters, Kaylei M. Cabisca, Kassandra L. Cabisca, Kathrine J. Cabisca, his paternal grandmother Debra (the late Donald) Honhart, maternal great grandmother, Geraldine Schillinger, maternal grandmother Rose (Bob) Hotelling, maternal grandfather, John McNinch, his former stepmother, Tanya Frantz, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family will receive friends on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church where funeral services will be held at 7 pm with Rev. Jay Tennies, Pastor, officiating.
