Mary Alice “Sis” Dalaba, 74, of Port Allegany, passed away Sunday (November 20, 2022) at her home in Port Allegany.
She was born March 15, 1948 in Port Allegany, the daughter of Alfred and Mary (Sherwood) Knell. On Feb. 25, 1965, in Port Allegany, PA, she married Jack A. Dalaba, who died Jan. 20, 2010.
Mary Alice was a 1966 graduate of Port Allegany High School. She worked as a book keeper for Falk Florist and Knell’s Sporting Goods, both in Port Allegany. She worked for her father and later operated the sporting goods store.
Mary Alice enjoyed hunting and fishing, going to Chautauqua Lake, and was instrumental in organizing and attending her class reunions. She enjoyed shooting pool and socializing with friends and family. She loved to attend John Koester’s AMA Professional Hill Climbing events.
She is survived by:

Eugene Alton Yentzer, II(Huey), 66, of Port Allegany, PA passed away Friday (November 18, 2022) at his home in Port Allegany.
He was born November 29,1955 in Coudersport, the son of Eugene Alton Yentzer and Arda DeNio Herbstritt.
Mr. Yentzer attended Austin Schools and was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam war.
Mr. Yentzer was a truck driver, employed by Campbell Trucking for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Frank Burt Post of Port Allegany. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and cruzin’ around town with his dog Gizmo.
He is survived by his father Eugene Yentzer, I of Port Allegany. Four sisters: Jenny Yentzer of Coudersport PA, Dawn (Gary) Bacon of Austin PA, Holly Herbstritt of New Port, TN and Kim McClain of Johnson City, TN.
One brother; Robert (Cheri) Yentzer of Port Allegany PA.
Several step-bothers and step-sisters and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and nephew Eugene (Gump) Yentzer, III.

Former Warren County Sheriff Larry E. Kopko, Sr., 74, of Kent, Ohio and formerly of Warren, PA., died Thursday afternoon, November 17, 2022, after a 19 month battle with esophageal cancer. Larry was born December 15, 1947, in Washington, PA.
He had served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War as a Staff Sergeant. He earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree with a major in Criminal Justice from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a graduate of National Sheriff’s Institute, Longmont Colorado. He also graduated from Rural Executive Management Institute from Little Rock, Arkansas and the FBI’s Great Lakes Leadership School, Niagara Falls, N.Y.
Larry had resided in Warren, Pa., for 44 years, where he was employed as a Patrolman with the Warren Borough Police Department, and then was Lieutenant with Conewango Township Police Department. In January of 1992, he became Sheriff of Warren County. While Sheriff he was instrumental in the DUI effort in Warren County, having deputies participating. In DUI roadblocks and checkpoints, as well as the Drug Task Force, the Buckle Up Program and Domestic Violence Task Force.
While Sheriff, his department was cited by Superintendent of the New York State Police and the Governor of Pennsylvania on the apprehension of a most wanted felon in New York State who had shot and wounded two New York State Troopers and killed another Trooper. Larry retired in 2012, after 20 years serving as Sheriff. He was a teacher at Jamestown Community College, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and National Sheriffs Association. Larry had served as Past Vice Chairman of the National Sheriffs Association Homeland Security Committee.
Larry was a member of Holy Family R.C. Church in Stow, Ohio and a former member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, Warren, PA.
He is remembered by his family, as a man who always put his family first, he loved spending time with his wife, children and especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ann Marie Catuzzi Kopko whom he married in 1969 in Buffalo, N.Y., 3 Children – James A. Kopko and wife, Leah of Bay Village, Ohio, Joseph A. Kopko and wife, Elizabeth of Mt. Lebanon, PA., Marie E. Burke and husband, Rocco of Streetsboro, Ohio, 1 Sister – Debbie Harshey and husband, Larry of Atlasburg, PA., 5 Grandchildren – Carmen, Carter, Andrew, Giuliana, Mattea, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Shuba, 1 Son – Larry E. Kopko, Jr. who died November 3, 2010.
As a final selfless act, Larry chose to donate his body to the Cleveland Clinic Research Group in hopes of learning more about the effects of agent orange and Camp LeJeune water on veterans.

H. Robert Hampson, 88, passed away at Warren General Hospital on Friday, November 5, 2021. He was born May 27, 1933, in Warren. His parents were Harold S. and Louise Goethchius Hampson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Durham Hampson, whom he married on October 26, 1963 and who died on April 28, 2000, and by his brothers Rodney L. Hampson and Thomas M. Hampson.
He is survived by his son, Philip L. Hampson, and his wife, Becky Baughman Hampson, of Warren, Pennsylvania, and his daughter, Susan Hampson Wortman, and her husband, Christian F. Wortman, of Falls Church, Virginia, as well as by his five grandchildren, Callie and Ben Hampson and Ella, Julia, and Sophia Wortman. He is also survived by Mary Ann Allinger, his devoted legal assistant and dear family friend, with whom he worked for fifty-eight years.
He was a graduate of Warren High School, Class of 1951, Cornell University, and Duke University Law School. He proudly served in the US Army, which he often cited throughout his life as an important formative experience.
Mr. Hampson was a third generation Warren County lawyer. His grandfather, Thomas Lee Hampson (1865-1935), and his father, Harold S. Hampson (1897-1976), practiced law in the community before him.
Bob served as Assistant District Attorney and as District Attorney before returning to private practice in 1970. He was a member and former president of the Warren County Bar Association. He was a member of the North Warren Presbyterian Church, where he had served as a Deacon and an Elder. He was active in numerous civic organizations, including the following: Director and Past President of the Warren County Motor Club (AAA), Board of Directors of the Warren YMCA, and Advisory Board of the Salvation Army. He served as Boy Scout Leader, incorporated and served as a Director of Crimestoppers, Inc, served as Director and advisor to Westview Cemetery Association, incorporated and served as an advisor to Warren ARC Enterprises (now Bollinger Enterprises, Inc), worked on fund drives and served as an advisor to the North Warren Volunteer Fire Department, was a Director and past President of Northern Allegheny Conservation Association, served as Director of the Warren County Historical Society, and was a member of the Warren Kiwanis, which included serving as a regular Salvation Army ‘bell ringer’ during the Christmas holiday season. He participated in the Audubon Annual Christmas Bird Count in Warren County for more than 50 years. He was an avid reader, jazz enthusiast, Duke basketball fan, bird watcher, and most importantly proud Grandfather.

Elizabeth Josephine “Betty” Dickey, 85, of Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Marys and formerly of Grove St., Johnsonburg, PA died Saturday morning, November 19, 2022 at Penn Highlands-DuBois.
She was born on April 14, 1937 in St. Marys a daughter to the late Bernard and Caroline Schutz Schreiber. On January 25, 1958 in Queen of the World Church, St. Marys she married Joseph Larue Dickey. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2019.
Betty had grown up in St. Marys and attended St. Marys public schools. She had lived the last two years at Elk Haven in St.Marys and had lived most of her life in Johnsonburg. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church.
She had been a member of the Johnsonburg Fire Dep’t. Women’s Aux. for over 50 years and was found one of the founding members of the Central Hose Co. Women’s Aux. She loved to play the guitar late into her retirement, still playing for the residents of Elk Haven. She loved to go “up the line” to the Casino in Salamanca, she was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and she loved to do arts and crafts at Elk Haven.
Betty had been retired from St. Marys Carbon after over 30 years of service.
She is survived by her children; Dody, Mrs. John Predko of Ridgway, Robert Dickey and his wife Penny of Ridgway, Gary Dickey and his companion Kelly Shaver of Fuquay Varina, NC and Donald Dickey of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren Johnny Predko, Brittany Predko and companion Bill Logue, and a great-grandson Payton Predko and by her sisters Alice Schreiber of Hendersonville, TN and Donna Palmer of St. Marys.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty is predeceased by a son Joseph Larue Dickey, Jr. in 1962 and brothers James, Bernie and Gary Schreiber and Bernard Schreiber in infancy.

Teresa J. “Terrie Jo” Mullen, 58, of Slack Hollow, Eldred, PA passed away Friday (November 18, 2022), at the Olean General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born on November 18, 1964 at Fort Monroe, Norfolk, Va., she was the daughter of Luther J. and Gloria J. Barnes Mullen.
Teresa was a 1983 graduate of Otto Eldred Schools. She then went on to obtain her CNA, and previously worked at Lake View Health Care and Rehab in Smethport for many years.
Teresa was very family oriented, especially with her two sons and her grandchildren. She loved gardening and canning with her devoted fiancé Rodney Mosher, listening to music, reading her books and watching her hummingbirds. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Teresa loved her fur babies, spending time with her horses, attending the McKean County fair and seeing her sons participate in the Demolition Derby. Bonfires, camping, and just being outside with nature were another way she loved to spend her time.
Surviving are two sons, Lance (Charlotte) Mullen, Shane (Carol) Mullen; her fiancé Rodney Mosher; seven stepsons, Zach Windsor, Ryan Tripp, Bill Freer, Jared McClain, Clint Fenton, and Tim Hand; two sisters, Vanessa (Ron) Scutt and Melissa (Les) Gallup; and three grandchildren, Chevelle Mullen, Izayah Mullen, Jayson Bennett; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death including her parents is one stepson, Sam Miller; and one grandson, Leo Mullen.
Following Teresa’s wishes there will be no services at this time, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Lewis G. Windsor, 36, of Turtlepoint, PA passed away Saturday (November 19, 2022) in Port Allegany.
He was born December 23, 1985 in Coudersport, the son of Matthew and Cheryl Mack Windsor.
He was a 2004 graduate of Port Allegany High School and Received an electrical degree from Pittsburgh Aeronautics. He was employed by Gulfstrean Areospace of Savannah, GA., as an aviation electrician. His job took him to Massachusetts in 2019 and back home to Port Allegany, where he was able to work form home as a trouble shooter.
Lewis was active in Port Allegany High School Athletics, such as track & field, wrestling and having helped start the Cross Country program.
He enjoyed hunting, boating and was an avid Penn State Nittany Lions fan.
He is survived by his parents, Matthew and Cheryl Windsor of Turtlepoint

Marian Smith-Weimar, 99, of Wellsboro, PA passed away November 19, 2022 at Broad Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born at home in Shippen Township on March 18, 1923 to Milan and Helen (Ford) Butler.
Marian graduated from high school, and worked as a Materials Inspector at Corning Glass Works in Wellsboro. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wellsboro, the Wellsboro Chapter of DAR and 1812, the Gaines Elk Council of Republican Women, BPW, and New England Women.
Marian is survived by her husband: Charles E. Weimar of Wellsboro, two children: Marlin D. (Beverly) of Asaph, Ardys Smith Boostrom of Asaph; four step-children: Karen (Terry) Niles of Carlisle, Randy C. (Laura) Weimar of New Milford, CT, Earl W. (Betsy) Weimar of Wellsboro, and Tammy L. (Phil) Marth of Boyertown; four grandchildren: Megan Converse of Asaph, Sarah Smith of Wellsboro, Robert Boostrom of Corpus Christi, TX, and Helen Boostrom of St. Louis, MO; nine step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands: Frederick Smith in 1990, and Frank Clark in 1997, and a step-daughter: Cindy Youngs.

Elizabeth A. Ensanian, 99, of Edson Street, Eldred, PA passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of November 16th, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Professor Minas Ensanian.
She was born in Berlin, Germany, on October 16, 1923, and lived to be 99 years of age.
Elizabeth survived the Allied Bombing of Dresden and met her future husband after the war. She was the first German citizen granted permission by General Eisenhauer’s staff to marry a U.S. Army soldier. As Minas was a combat member of the 82nd Airborne Division, her wedding dress was made of parachute silk.
Elizabeth raised and is survived by 4 children. She has numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Tuesday (November 22, 2022) at the Duke Center United Methodist Church from 1pm to 2pm at which time funeral services will be held, with Rev. Beth Rosler officiating. Burial will be in the Ensanian Family Cemetery, Eldred, Pa.

John Clark, age 76, passed away at Jones Memorial Hospital on November 12th after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his family.
He was born August 21, 1946, in Kane, PA, the son of Gordon Clark and Rose Rossi Clark of Bolivar, NY. He graduated from Towson State in Baltimore, MD. John was an Airman First Class, U.S. Air Force Veteran serving from 1966-1969.
He was a longtime member of the Bolivar American Legion Post 772. He retired from Dresser Rand in Wellsville, NY and was a Teacher in Bolivar, NY years ago where he also coached baseball. He enjoyed all kinds of sports, especially football and golf, but had a passion for baseball and was an excellent baseball player.
He is survived by his son, Jared Clark of Bolivar, NY, daughter, Erin Clark of Bolivar, NY, granddaughter, Vedderlyn Lehman, who he adored, loving friend Cindy Dick, sister, Janet Morris of Lakeside, VA, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends who cared for him dearly.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Gorden Clark (Junior) and sister Janice Barton (Pickles).
Burial with military honors will be in Bath National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Bolivar NY on November 26, 2022 at 11:00 am, followed by a celebration of his life at the Bolivar American Legion, Bolivar, NY on November 26th at 12:00 pm.

Thomas A. “Frenchy” Reed, 67, of Christ the King Manor and formerly of 402 Main Street, Kersey, PA passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois.
He was born November 27, 1954, son of Andrew and the late Rose Pusl Reed. Tom was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1973. Tom worked at Buhlers Lumber Factory shortly after graduating high school. On August 13, 1980, when Tom was 25 years old, he was struck by an automobile and suffered a TBI. He worked hard at physical therapy to live a normal life, and found peace in music, especially the Blues. Tom loved to spend countless hours listening to his records and he enjoyed cherry-tipped cigars. He had the most precious laugh you’ve ever heard and he loved his family and friends. His father, Andy, has fond memories of fishing with his son. Since Tom was five years of age, he could always beat his dad at fishing by catching the most fish.
Along with his caring father, he is survived by his sister, Michelle “Shelley” Shirey and her husband, Ed, of Ridgway; five nieces and nephews: Joshua (Amanda) Shirey of Washington, PA, Jeremy (Melissa) Shirey of Pearl City, HI, Brandi Aaron of Knoxville, TN, Kirstie Shirey of Washington, PA, and Kathryn Shirey of Gettysburg, PA; nine great-nieces and great-nephews; and an aunt, Norma Jean Snedden of Brandy Camp.

George D. Arnett, 96, of Bradford, PA passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at the Pavilion at BRMC.
He was born on November 8, 1926 in Bradford, a son of the late David and Gertrude Jones Arnett.
He was a 1944 graduate of the Bradford Senior High School.
On February 5, 1949 in the West Branch United Methodist Church; he married Betty L. Briney; who preceded him in death on January 20, 2014.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II; serving stateside from June 1944 until his honorable discharge in July 1946.
He was employed as a mechanic for the former Owens-Illinois, Bradford; until his retirement in 1989.
He attended the West Branch United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going for walks in the woods, traveling and beagles.
He is survived by one son, David (Diane) Arnett of Bradford; one daughter, Laura Keesler of Gifford; one sister, Zella Kleisath of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife he was also preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Arnett, and one daughter, Karen Churchill.

Donna M. Larkin, 72, of Turtlepoint, PA passed away Thursday (November 17, 2022) at UPMC-Cole, Coudersport.
She was born January 17, 1950 in Kane, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Pierce Parris. In 2012, in Smethport, PA, she married Carl G. Larkin, who survives.
Donna attended Smethport schools and was a housewife, tending to the needs of her family.
She enjoyed doing all kinds of puzzles, fishing, going out to eat, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Donna was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.
There will be no visitation or services at this time.

Louis R. “Puff” DeMonte, Sr., age 89 of Westfield, PA passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at his home with family by his side.
Born August 12, 1933 in Dagus Mines, PA, he was the son of the late Ernest and Alice (Betta) DeMonte.
Louie proudly served in the US Army from 1953 – 1955 and retired from Consolidated Gas Company.
He married Mary Johanna (Washkaw); sharing 66 years together and raising four children.
Louie was involved in many ventures; he drove truck for Westfield Township, helped with Jacobson’s maple syrup and at one time had a free range farm. He was an avid outdoorsman; enjoying hunting, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, cutting firewood and mowing his yard. In his younger days, he played baseball and was a wonderful catcher.
He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, River Valley Country Club and American Legion Post #978 in Weedville, PA.
Louie is survived by his wife, Jo Ann; children, Lisa Meachem, Louis and Katie DeMonte, Jr., Ernie and Maryjayne DeMonte and Joe and Deborah DeMonte; grandchildren, Dennis and Michelle Ackley, Tom Ackley, Danielle and Brendan McGaha, Brittney and Drew Cipolla, Emily, Jason, Melissa, Elizabeth, Halie, Kayla, Abigail, Angela, Joey and Desiree and Christian Hage; 11 great grandchildren; a brother, Beno DeMonte; sister, Elda Carpin and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sylvia Cleaver.

Mary M. “Peggy” Pierce, 81, of 112 2nd Street, Bolivar, NY passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at home with her family at her side following a lengthy illness.
Mary was born on July 13, 1941 in Olean, she was the Daughter of William and Cornelia Palmer Kelley. Mary married John Pierce on February 2, 1964 in Olean, Mr. Pierce survives.
Mary was a graduate of the Olean High School, class of 1959. Mary was a cashier for many years at the Uni Mart, Bolivar and the Market Basket Grocery Store later the Food Land and Shop and Save Grocery Store in Bolivar.
Surviving in addition to her husband are six children, Robert Pierce, Bolivar, Luann Pierce, Bolivar, Arlene (Ken) Austin, Bolivar, Jenny Pierce, Richburg, Tina (Rob) Farrell, Bolivar and Tim (Stephanie) Pierce, Richburg; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother in infancy and one sister Mary Karen Landries.

James A. “Boo” Coder, Jr., 69, of 15 Lang Lane, Lewis Run, PA passed away Monday, November 14, 2022, at the UPMC Hamot Medical Center.
Born November 19, 1952, in Bradford, he was the son of the late James A. and Joanne (Cramer) Coder, Sr.
Boo was a graduate of Bradford Central Christian High School, class of 1971. He worked his way through the ranks as a Bradford City Fireman and was appointed Chief on December 18, 2007 and he served as chief until January 31, 2011. After retiring as a Bradford City Firefighter, he worked for Northern Industrial Insulation and the University of Pittsburgh of Bradford.
On September 2, 2006 on his parents back porch he married Carol (Kightlinger) Coder, who survives.
He excelled in sports in school, playing basketball and football. He was an avid sportsman,loved bowling, fishing, hunting, golf, and played shortstop in the Bradford Men’s Softball League. He was a member of the Gleason Golf League and the Italian Club. He was a Bradford Township Supervisor for many years and donated his time to help to stock fish in the area.
Surviving is his wife and longtime companion, Carol, one daughter, Krista Coder, four sisters, Sis Crappio, Annie Keller, Tessa Crosby, and Kelly Gainey, one brother, John H. Coder, two grandchildren, 11 nieces and nephews, Buddy, Melissa, Katelyn, Garret, Jason, Jimmy, Dalton, Kara, Brianna, Christian, and Aaron, and our loyal companion our cats, Daisy and Annie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Michael P. Coder, and one son, Casey Coder.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Avenue. Janet Elizabeth Viglione, 94, a resident of Ridgmont and formerly of 402 Benedict Street, St. Marys, PA passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Ridgmont.
She was born October 2, 1928, in Kane, PA, daughter of the late Hilding and Ruth Sayers Anderson. She has been a resident of St. Marys since 1958 and lived in Ridgway since she was eight years old where she graduated from Ridgway High School in 1947.
On June 21, 1947, in St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Janet married her sweetheart, Paul Michael Viglione, who preceded her in death on March 15, 1999. They were blessed to celebrate their Golden Anniversary in 1997.
She is survived by her son, Alan M. Viglione (Jean) of Championsgate, FL; three grandchildren: Christine Burkey (Robert) of Holidaysburg, Joseph Viglione (Hazel) of State College, and Therese Viglione of Bellefonte; six great-grandchildren: Michael, Jordyn, and Nicholas Burkey and Samuel, Owen, and Gemma Viglione; four sisters: Loretta Herzing of St. Marys, Karen Nero (George) of St. Marys, Junette Weisner of St. Marys, and Lyn Scrubb (Leo) of Missouri; and a sister-in-law, Kay Viglione of Ridgway.
In addition to her husband and parents, Janet was preceded in death by her sisters: Bonnie Lynd and Shirley Fabino; her step-mother, June Anderson Smith; a niece, Diane Lynd; a nephew, Richard Lynd, Jr.; and brothers-in-law: Archie Fabino, Richard Lynd, Sr., John Herzing, and Jim Weisner.
She worked at Quality Components for forty-two years and was in business with her husband at Paul Viglione Beauty Salon for over thirty-five years. She has been a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church since 1958 and was a committed member of the Elk County community. She loved traveling and spending time with all her family including her McDonald’s Family.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 10:30 AM, with the Rev. Thomas More Sikora, OSB, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Maureen E. Brennan of Cuba, NY known to many as Mo, Grandma, Ging Ging and Aunt Ging, passed away Sunday (Nov. 13, 2022) at Buffalo General Hospital.
Born Sept. 14, 1939, in Olean, she was the daughter of Donald and Dorothy Rafferty Brennan.
Maureen was a graduate of Olean High School. She was a hard-working woman and had worked in the housekeeping department at St. Bonaventure University for over 30 years.
In 2008, she suffered a massive stroke, which left her partially paralyzed. After her stroke, she worked even harder to learn how to walk and regain the use of one of her arms.
In recent years, Maureen lived between her son and daughter’s homes and it enabled a unique and cherished relationship with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a kind, generous and loveable lady.
Maureen loved traveling to Charleston and Myrtle Beach, S.C. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, going fishing and going to the casino. Her routine of watching television shows, from the Price is Right to the Young and the Restless, will be missed.
Maureen is survived by two children, Dawn (Michael) Morris of Bolivar and Shawn (Debbie) Fowler of Cuba; six grandchildren, Luke (Kate) Campbell, Shane Campbell, Brittany Fowler, Tara (Chris Corder) Campbell, Emily Fowler and Katey Fowler; three step-grandsons, Joshua, Matthew and Kyle Morris; three great-grandchildren, Jeter, Ellis and Gabriella Campbell; one brother, Michael (Bonnie) Brennan of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including two special nieces and goddaughter, Allie Hartley and Chauncy Crowley; and a close nephew, Scott (Gretchen) Coppella.
She was predeceased by her longtime companion and soulmate, Allan Fowler Jr. of Eldred, Pa.; an infant son, Jonathan Fowler; two sisters, Patricia McGranigan and Nancy (John) Coppella; and one brother, Steven Brennan.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday (Nov. 19, 2022) at the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State St., Olean. Funeral services will begin at noon in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.

Jarrid L. MATTESON, 36, of Wellsville, NY, died Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester.
Born January 15, 1986, in Wellsville, he was the son of Brian and Tammy Waters Matteson.
A 2005 graduate of Wellsville High School, he attended Corning Community College for Fire EMS.
On October 22, 2016, in Wellsville, he married Katie L. Williams, who survives.
He was employed by Kmart, L.C. Whitford, Bokman of Wellsville, several local farms, Track Rescue, MTS, and as a painter at Concrete Mixer Supply of Olean.
Jarrid was a member of Wellsville Volunteer Fire Company, serving in numerous positions and currently the captain of the fire department, Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance Corps where he served as chairman, and attended Crosstown Alliance Church. The fire department was a large part of Jarrid’s life.
He owned and operated Jarrid’s Woodworking.
Surviving besides his wife, Katie, are: two daughters, Mya and Gracie; his parents, Brian and Tammy Matteson of Wellsville; paternal grandparents, Marion and Mary Matteson of Wellsville; maternal grandfather, Paul Waters of Andover; a sister, Brianna (Eric) Jordan of Plymouth, MA; two brothers, Bret (Erica) Matteson of Whitesville and Scott (Wendy) Lanphier of Scio; his mother-in-law, Lora Williams of Wellsville; many aunts and uncles; a niece, Aubrey; three nephews, Holden, Landen, and Andrew; and cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Sarah Waters; and three uncles, Alan Matteson, Scott Matteson, and Stanley Weinhauer.

Walter R. Bowers, age 81 of Westfield, PA passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at his home.
Born December 27, 1940 in Westfield, he was the son of the late Ronald and Ethelyn (West) Bowers.
Walt retired from Ingersoll Rand, Painted Post, where he was a machinist for many years.
He married Bonita M. (Swimley) in 1959 and they shared 61 years together until her passing on January 13, 2021. When their children we younger, they were active in the Westfield Youth Baseball and the Alleghany Mountain League. Walt enjoyed fishing, cooking and woodworking.
He is survived by his children, Rick Bowers of Troy, Cindy (Mike) Stevens of Elmira, Bud and Tina Bowers of Westfield and Timothy and Daphne Bowers of Watsontown; his grandchildren, Ryan and Mindy Stevens, Gabrielle and Mike Hess, Tyler, McKenzie, Garrett and Sidney Bowers four great grandchildren, Carter and Logan Stevens and Madelene and Claire Hess; two sisters, June Passmore and Kay Sweet and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Walt was preceded in death by his wife, Bonita; a granddaughter, Pamela Bowers and a brother, Roger Bowers.
