David J. “Bud” Brandt, IV, 31, of Kersey, PA.
David J. “Bud” Brandt, IV, 31, of Kersey passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
He was born on March 15, 1991 in Bradford, PA, a son of David Brandt, III and Paula Seighman Brandt, who survive of Kersey.
Bud loved working on vehicles, as well as riding four wheelers and motorcycles. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had a shared love for Iron Maiden and his two dogs, Iris and Star. Anyone and everyone who knew Bud knew he would lend a helping hand anyway he could, an attribute of many that will be deeply missed about him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters; Amanda Ryden of Kersey and Deanna (Ian) Straub of Byrnedale, by one nephew; Michael, and by one niece; Mazakeen. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother; Carlyn Seighman of Smethport, his paternal grandmother; Patricia Brandt of Meyerstown, and his paternal grandfather; David (Loretta) Brandt, Jr. of Lebanon. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; William “Bill” Seighman.
Funeral Services for David J. Brandt, IV will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home with Rec. Barry Moyer officiating.

Richard C. “Dick” Gustin, 86, of Roulette, passed away in his home with his loving family by his side on Thursday, December 22, 2022, after a short illness.

Raymond P. DeMatz, 92, of Meadow Rd., Emporium, PA formerly of Sykesville passed away at Penn Highlands Elk, St. Marys, PA on Wednesday afternoon (December 21, 2022) following a brief illness. He was born November 22, 1930 in Sykesville, PA a son of the late Peter and Angeline Sandy DeMatz. He married Anne Geleskie DeMatz in St. Mark Catholic Church, Emporium, PA.
Ray graduated from the former Sykesville High School in the class of 1948. After graduation he served with the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Sylvania, after 36 years, working as a tool maker with his last 16 years as tool room foreman. He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, Emporium where he served as an usher for many years. He was a life member of the Miller-Raffaele Post 6221, VFW, and the Knights of Columbus. Ray enjoyed hunting, golfing, gardening, wine making, and loved his family very much. He generously shared with many people the fruits of his labor.
In addition to his wife Anne he is survived by two sisters, Marie Cressley, Reynoldsville and Laura Towns, Sykesville; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Zediak.
There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Tuesday (December 27, 2022) at 12:00 PM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor and Msgr. Charles A. Kaza, Concelebrants.
Burial will take place Wednesday in the Assumption Cemetery, Sykesville, PA.

Terry Lee DAVIS, 78, of New Port Richey, FL, died Wednesday, December 21, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Born June 18, 1944, in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of George J. and Edith Morley Davis. A graduate of Goshen High School, Goshen, NY, she earned a bachelor’s degree in English from SUNY New Paltz and a master’s in education degree in reading from Bloomsburg University. She also studied at Lancaster School of Theology and Evangelical School of Theology. Terry taught secondary English and was a reading specialist.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Mohnton, PA. Her family remembers her as fun-loving, caring, kind, smart, a writer, an artist, a teacher, a musician, and a very giving person. She loved her friends and family dearly and in return was so very loved back.
Surviving are: three daughters, Anne (William) Kenworthy of Charlottesville, VA, Julie (Glenn) Milliard of Bloomsburg, PA, and Kelly Powell of Spring Hill, FL; a son, Brett (Hollee) Kolk of Mount Joy, PA; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Cheryl (Glyn) Lovely of Presque Isle, ME; a nephew, David (Valerie) Lovely of Wells, ME; an aunt, Maude Morley of Ulysses; and many cousins.

Victoria L. “Vicki” Setzer, 56, a lifelong resident of Coudersport, PA passed away with her loving family by her side on Sunday, December 18, 2022, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born on Monday, February 14, 1966, in Coudersport, she was a daughter of Harry V. Jr. and Inez M. Shaw Setzer.
Vicki was a graduate of Coudersport High School. She enjoyed going to Bingo and doing crossword puzzles and word searches. Her greatest love was her family.
Surviving are two sons, Brandon L. (Amanda) Grabbitt of Port Allegany and Derek J. (McKenna) Grabbitt of Coudersport; her son’s father and her good friend, Norman W. Grabbitt of Wellsville, N.Y.; eight siblings, Louise M. Setzer of Coudersport, Terry W. Setzer, Ronnie B. (Vicki) Setzer, James R. (Vera Mae) Setzer, and Roxy F. Setzer, all of Austin, Jerry L. (Jane) Setzer of Connecticut, Janet L. Setzer and Carol L. (William) Krog, both of Coudersport; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, including Kaleb Jones, her grandnephew with whom she had a special bond.
In addition to her parents, Vicki was predeceased by two brothers, Duane W. Setzer and Donald H. Setzer; two nephews, Nathan Setzer and Chad Setzer.

Louella M. Moyer, 94, of 117 Lovers Lane, Kersey, PA
Louella M. Moyer, 94, of 117 Lovers Lane, Kersey, PA passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Elk Haven Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness.
She was born May 18, 1928, in Dagus Mines, daughter of the late Swan Swanson and Zona Fox Swanson Fredrickson. Louella was a lifelong resident of the area, a graduate of Kersey High School, Class of 1946, and a graduate of the DuBois Business College with a degree in Accounting. She was an employee of the former Andrew Kaul Memorial Hospital where she retired in 1991.
On September 28, 1946 in the First Lutheran Church in Ridgway, Louella married Jesse B. Moyer, who preceded her in death in 1986.
She is survived by her daughters: Janna Pollino and her husband Ray and Jocelyn Breindel and her husband Donald, both of Kersey; three sons: Gary R. Moyer and his wife Shar Lou; Jesse R. Moyer and his wife Patricia; and Jason S. Moyer, all of Kersey; 15 grandchildren: Matthew Moyer (Crystal), Eric Moyer, Jesse Moyer (Maria), Susan Oskorus, Michele Daly, Chet Moyer, Amanda Moyer (Ragavan), Jacqueline Moyer, Caitlyn Moyer, Cory Breindel (Ninna), Brandon Breindel (Tori), Carissa Breindel (Robert), Emily Rindosh (Gabriel), Olivia Pollino and Zachary Pollino; two step-grandchildren: Andrew Meyer and LuAnn Meyer; twelve great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Louella was preceded in death by her brother, Swan Swanson, Jr. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Louella was a committed member of the Maria Lutheran Church where she held various positions and volunteered her time. She was a member of the choir, council, cemetery committee, social ministry, LCW, and treasurer. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was on the planning committee for the Fox Twp. Board of Supervisors. She loved her community where she would volunteer her time for Meals on Wheels at the Fox Twp. Senior Center, the Guardian Angel Center, and as a Cub Scout Den Mother. She enjoyed gardening, camping, traveling, and reading. There was nothing more important to her than spending time with her loving family especially her grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in the Maria Lutheran Church on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Maria Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday, December 26, 2022 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.

Ray F. Louk, Jr., 87, of Bradford, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at UPMC Hamot, Erie.
He was born on September 1, 1935 in Bradford; a son of the late Raymond and Ida Cramer Louk.
He was a 1955 graduate of the Bradford Area High School.
He was a U.S. Army veteran; who served from January, 1956 until his honorable discharge in December, 1957.
He was a member of the Lt. John C. Roche VFW Post 212. He enjoyed attending tractor pulls and meeting his friends at the “McDonald’s Morning Coffee Club” and he was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He was employed as a custodian at the movie theater in town for several years and then as a parking lot attendant for several local businesses.
He is survived by one son, Doug Louk of Bradford; two daughters, Judy Louk and Darlene Louk both of Bradford; one brother, Louie Louk of Warren; two grandchildren, Shannon Louk and Katrina Louk; three great grandchildren, Farrah Young, Alyssa Louk and Lance Louk; one great great-granddaughter, Savannah Louk and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents; he was also preceded in death by one son, James Louk; one infant son, Bobby Louk; one brother, Russell Louk and two sisters, Betty Clark and Peggy Noyes.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Margaret S. (Myers) Ginder, 100, of Lancaster, formerly of Mount Joy,
Margaret S. (Myers) Ginder, 100, of Lancaster, formerly of Mount Joy, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Mennonite Home.
Born Wednesday, October 4, 1922 in Londonderry twp., she was the daughter of the late Sylvan and Martha (Shireman) Myers. She was married 69 years to Ralph G. Ginder who passed away in June 2012.
Margaret was a longtime member and part of the leadership, along with her husband Pastor Ralph Ginder, of Rissers Mennonite Church. She loved quilting and crocheting. Margaret and her sister, Florence Whisler, also had a business selling homemade noodles and sticky buns. She was also a longtime volunteer at the Mennonite Home. Margaret and Ralph also enjoyed traveling to Israel, Germany and throughout the United States.
Surviving are three children: Carl E. Ginder and wife Eunice; Ann Simonetti, and Marie L. Miller and husband Steve, all of Mount Joy; 11 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren; a sister Arlene Risser of Ulysses, PA and a son-in-law Jay Boll.
Margaret was predeceased by two daughters: Janet M. Espenshade and her husband Sherwood and Lois J. Boll.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Rissers Mennonite Church, 8360 Elizabethtown Road, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at 10:30 AM. Dora M. Mahoney, 90, of Hemlock Road, St. Marys, PA
Dora M. Mahoney, 90, of Hemlock Road, St. Marys, PA passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Pinecrest Manor following a battle with dementia.
She was born on May 6, 1932, in St. Marys, PA, a daughter of the late Nicola and Michelina DiColantino D’Amore.
On June 19, 1954, at Sacred Heart, she married the late Gerald Mahoney, who preceded her in death on April 7, 1995.
Dora was a lifelong resident of St. Marys and member of Queen of The World Church. She worked as a waitress at several local restaurants for many years. She will be fondly remembered for her faithful and devoted service as a local registrar for more than 20 years. In her free time, Dora enjoyed sewing and going to Bingo. She was a sweet and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her friends and family, often sending them home with “goodies”.
She is survived by 4 children; Greg Mahoney and his wife Barb of St. Marys, Shawn Mahoney and his wife Lori of Kersey, Sandra Bahn and her husband Jim of Philadelphia, and Lorena Hamilton of St. Marys, and by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother; Joe D’Amore and his wife Mal of St. Marys, a sister; Theresa Geitner of St. Marys, a sister-in-law; Lois D’Amore of St. Marys, and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Dora was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Carmen D’Amore and Anthony D’Amore, andby a sister in infancy, Emilia D’Amore.
A Memorial Service for Dora M. Mahoney will be celebrated on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael Street, St. Marys, PA, with Fr. Jeffery Noble officiating.

George Santora, 74, of Bradford, PA passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born October 26, 1948, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Florence (Chimento) Santora.
George was a 1967 graduate of Bradford High School. After graduating and working construction in Florida. He returned to Bradford and worked at Evergreen Elm, later Cummins Construction and S.M. Gleason Construction. He retired after 25 years.
George was a member of St. Bernard Church, he sang in St. Bernard Resurrection Choir.
He was a member of the Local 5 Labor Union in Pittsburgh Pittsburgh, and enjoyed going to the YMCA.
Surviving is one sister, Hazel “Toby” Stahlman, of Bradford, and several nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by his mother, two sisters, Michelle K. “Mickey” Santora, and Rose “Sis” Santora and one brother, Frank R. Santora.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 1:00 PM in St. Bernard Church with Fr. Jim Gutting, as Celebrant. Burial will be with his mother in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Robert Frederick “Pop” Erway, 90, of Lawrenceville, formerly of Mansfield, PA
Robert Frederick “Pop” Erway, 90, of Lawrenceville, formerly of Mansfield, PA passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on August 26, 1932 in Wellsboro, the son of the late Charles & Mildred (Seeley) Erway. He married the former Joyce Welch on September 1, 1951 and have celebrated 71 years of marriage.
Bob worked for the North Penn Gas Company, now UGI, retiring in 1995 and is a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Wellsboro where he served as an elder. Earlier in life he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Mansfield and served as a trustee and elder.
Bob served as a scoutmaster of Troop #106, Commissioner, Committeeman for Troops 106 and 24, executive board member of the General Sullivan Council, Vice President of the Council and President for two years. Was a member of the Five Rivers Council executive board and the recipient of the coveted Silver Beaver Award.
Bob was an involved member of the Mansfield community, serving on the Tioga County Borough Association and served as President at the time of the ground breaking of the Tioga-Hammond Dam in 1974. He was also an active member of the Kiwanis Club, the B.O.O.M. Committee, the Chamber of Commerce, the Mansfield Fire Company and Ambulance Association, Mansfield Borough Council, serving as President for three years.
Bob was a member of the Friendship Masonic Lodge #247 and a 32nd degree Mason. He also served on the Wellsboro Chamber of Commerce, the GROW Industrial Committee and the United Way. Bob enjoyed growing vegetables and fruit, growing hay, and raising bees on his farm in Lawrenceville, PA.
In addition to his wife, Joyce, Bob is survived by a daughter, Linda (Ellsworth Richardson) Andrews of Middlebury Center; two sons: Michael (Debra) Erway of Ottawa, KS; and Jeffrey (Alisa) Erway of Richmond, VA; an adopted daughter, Toni Brauchler of Dunkirk, NY; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a son, Timmy Erway, a granddaughter, Sarah Erway, 8 brothers and 2 sisters.
A memorial service for Bob will be announced at a later date.

Clara Anne MERRELL, 84, of Bolivar, NY
Clara Anne MERRELL, 84, of Bolivar, NY, died Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in Olean General Hospital.
Born July 7, 1938, in Rochester, she was the daughter of Earl and Fern Prevost Gerew. On June 4, 1960, in Rochester, she married Burdette Lewis “Bud” Merrell, who survives.
She was employed by Genesee Hospital in the dietary department and then stayed home to raise her children.
Clara was a member of Riverside Assembly of God in Wellsville. She was a great mother and grandmother, who had a strong faith and was always praying.
Surviving besides her husband, Bud, are: ten children, Burdette L. (Ellen) Merrell, Jr. of Perry, George W (Louise) Merrell of Cuba, Kimberly Ann (Jim) DeGroff of Bolivar, Tina (Rex) Francisco of Scio, Michael (Vonda) Merrell of Niagara Falls, Linda (Dana) Harris of Wellsville, Clarence (Marsha) Merrell of Lima, Pauleen (Rory) Dudley of Bolivar, Richard James Merrell of Lexington Park, MD, and Sandra (Brian) Brizzee of Wellsville; 47 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eileen Stevens and Cheryl Curry; nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Keith Merrell of Bergen, who was like a son.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Merrell; and three grandsons, Kristopher R. Francisco, Michael Witter, and Zachary Keller.
Friends may call at Riverside Assembly of God, Riverside Drive, Wellsville on Friday, December 23, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, with a Memorial Service following at 11:00 AM. Rev. John Francisco and Rory Dudley will co-officiate. Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery.

Alida Wilcox, 89, of Frostproof, FL passed away December 17, 2022 at the Lakeland Regional Health Center in Lakeland, FL.
She was born April 21, 1933 in Blossburg to Adalbert and Zelma (Smith) Stadler. On July 19, 1951, she married Clifton Wilcox and together they shared 71 years of marriage.
She had been a member of the Stony Fork Baptist Church, and enjoyed camping, travelling, and needlework, especially knitting and crocheting. Most of all, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved being around family.
She is survived by her husband Clifton Wilcox of Frostproof, FL; a son: Robert Wilcox (Kim) of Wellsboro; two daughters: Joan Wilcox of Frostproof, FL, and Kathy Compton (Mark) of Glendale, AZ; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Dorothy Phillips, and Beverly Markowicz.

Gene F. Hulings, 78, of the Lutheran Home at Kane and formerly of Milan, PA, Kane and Wilcox, PA died Saturday morning, December 17, 2022 at the Lutheran Home. She was born March 16, 1944 in Wilcox a daughter to the late Howard and Pearl Marie Sellers Finn. On November 30, 1963 she married Harold Hulings, Sr. who preceded her in death on December 10, 2005.
Gene had been at the Lutheran Home for the past 3 years and had spent her later years in life with her children in Milan, PA. She had also lived in Kane for many years. She spent much of her life in the Wilcox-Rasselas area and was a 1962 graduate of Wilcox High School.
She was a member of the Wyndham Community Church in Wyndham, PA and enjoyed the teachings of Pastor Pfleiger while at the Lutheran Home. She was also very involved in the many available activities available to her at the Home. She was a breast cancer survivor!, a very active grandmother and had been a member of the Kane Eagles.
Gene had worked as an Activities Aid for Dickinson Mental Health for 3 years and had worked as an Activities Aide at Bradford County Manor for over 20 years.
Gene is survived by her 3 children; Harold Hulings, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Gillett, PA, Annette Hulings and her companion J.B. Martin of Rome, PA an Timothy Hulings and his wife Brianna of Rome, PA and 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Timothy W. Webster, 71, of Wellsboro, PA passed away Friday December 16, 2022 at UPMC Williamsport.
He was born May 30, 1951 in Wellsboro, delivered by his grandfather Dr. Jess Webster, to Jerome “Jerry” and Mary (Wiley) Webster.
He graduated from high school, and while attending college was needed at home to work the farm. On June 1, 1974, he married Karen Smithgall, with whom he raised four children and enjoyed 48 years of marriage.
Tim was very active in the Tioga County Fair and the Fairgrounds at Whitneyville, and he enjoyed hunting. He was an excellent horseback rider, and had been active in Young Farmers of America. But his deepest loves were what he built his life around, his family and his farm.
Tim is survived by his wife: Karen Webster of Wellsboro; two sons: Todd Webster (Jessica) of Wellsboro, and Garrett Webster of Wellsboro; two daughters: Lauren Sargent (Micah) of Wellsboro, and Traci Wood (Cris) of Wellsboro; eight grandchildren: Taitt, Lilly, Evelynn, Wiley, Clint, Sloan, Ava, and Sydney; two sisters: Cathy Janeski (Tom) of Wellsboro, and Linda Hoge (Jim) of Erie; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister: Janet Lawton.

Bonita K. Bartsch Suppa, 87, of Irvine, PA., died Tuesday morning, December 20, 2022, after suffering a heart attack and stroke.
She was born September 23, 1935, in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of Carl Frederick and Doris J. Farr Bartsch.
Bonita was a Warren Co. resident most of her life and had formerly lived in Youngsville, PA. She was a 1954 graduate of Warren High School.
She was employed with the Warren County School District as a school bus operator for 23 years and also with the former Blair Corporation for 11 ½ years, working in the returns department, retirement from there in 2000.
Bonita was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Women of the Warren Moose Lodge 109, and an avid cake decorator.
She is survived by her 4 children – twin daughters – Cheryl D. Judy C. Cooper of 10 Park Ave., Eldred, PA passed away on Friday (Dec. 16, 2022) at ECMC following an illness.
Judy was born on June 16, 1948 in Roswell, N.M., and was the daughter of Donald Elmer and Mildred Woodard Clark Ballentine. On May 8, 1976 in Hampton, N.H., she married the love of her life, Allen A. Cooper, who survives.
Judy was a class of 1966 graduate of Winnacunnet High School. She continued her education at BAC College where she graduated with her Associate;s Degree as Registered Respiratory Therapist in 1987. Judy became a certified Polysomnography Technician. She retired from the Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital with 20+ years of service.
Judy enjoyed reading, listening to music, dancing, and travelling with her husband but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed the company of her dog, Marcy.
Along with her loving husband Allen, Judy is survived by six children, Dina (Tiger) Lacoss, Kelly (John) Manasco, Michael Cooper, Kimberly (Robert) Stewart, Jeffery (Cindy) Cooper, and Patricia (Jeremy) James; seven siblings, Donna, Rosy, Kenneth, Paula, Sheryl, Danny and Chuck; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law.
Judy was predeceased by; her parents; sister, Caroline; brothers- in-law, Howard, Donald, Roy and Lucian; mother and father in-law, Lenard and Bernice Cooper.

JOHNSONBURG – Thomas E. “Tom” Ferragine, 61, of Chris Drive, Bradford and formerly of Johnsonburg, died Sunday morning (Dec. 18, 2022) at Buffalo General Medical Center, Buffalo, N.Y. following a brief illness.
He was born on July 19, 1961, in St. Marys, a son to the late Almondo “Elmer” and Renelda Lupole Ferragine. On Nov. 20, 1993, in St. Bernard’s Church, Bradford, he married Alice M. Casper and she survives.
Tom was a 1979 graduate of Johnsonburg Area High School and a 1988 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. He had worked for Verizon and Radio Shack in Bradford. An avid reader and collector, Tom enjoyed spending time at home with his wife and pets immersed in his books, comic books, games and collectibles. He enjoyed the company of his beloved dog Chief and cats Katy, Miss Kitty, Gaia, Egon and Spook.
Tom is survived by his wife Alice at home and his sister Julie (Larry) Holjencin of Canon City, Colo. and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Tom is predeceased by his sister Marty Margaret Clelland.

Jack E. “Jay” Ferry Jr., 47, of Warren, PA, passed away on Sunday December 18, 2022, in his home.
He was born in Warren on October 19, 1975, the son of the late Mary (Magee) Ferry and Jackie E. Ferry Sr., who survives. Jack was a graduate of Warren Area High School. He enjoyed hunting, hiking, fishing, cooking, watching UFC and movies, and spending time with family. Jack was a laborer and worked for Great Lakes in Corry, Pa.
Jack is survived by his father, Jackie E. Ferry Sr.; his wife Carla Ferry, of Youngsville; three children Amber M. Ferry of Warren, PA, Autumn M. Crowe (Devin) of Pittsfield, Pa, and Vanessa Y. Ferry of Warren, Pa.; two grandchildren Bryson Huya and Jayla Ferry, with two more grandchildren to be born in 2023.; two siblings Lorie Whippo (Shelby) of Virginia, and Scott Skidmore (Carrie) of Sheffield; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother; brothers Frank Skidmore, and Kenny Matha; his maternal grandmother Minnie Menard; and his maternal great grandmother Theresa Siliano.

Marvin V. Hamm, age 76, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Sunday, December 18, 2022.
He was born on October 10, 1946 in Tacoma, WA a son of the late Oscar and Esther (Miller) Hamm and was married for 52 years to Sharon L. (Wagner) Hamm.
Marvin was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army.
He retired from Borden, Inc., Wellsboro PA with 39 years of service and then worked for Citizens and Northern Bank, Wellsboro, PA for several more years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was always willing to help others.
Marvin is survived by his wife: Sharon L. Hamm of Wellsboro, PA, daughter: Sarah (Matt) Schmitt of Southborough, MA, brother: Michael (Alice) Hamm of Wellsboro, PA, sister-in-law: Joanne Hamm of Morgan City, LA, brother-in-law: Dave Smith of Wellsboro, PA and 2 grandchildren.

Jamie Davidson Moore, 46, of Johnsonburg, PA
On December 16, 2022, Jamie Davidson Moore, 46, of Johnsonburg, PA laid down worldly pain and gained her heavenly wings.
Jamie was born July 13, 1976 in Kane, to Brad Pfendler who survives and the late Nedra Davidson Blauser. On June 2, 2001in Kane, she married John Moore. Jamie and John then made a loving home for 22 years in Johnsonburg.
Jamie was an amazing woman. Through her life she juggled many titles from a mom, mimi, daughter, house wife, working woman, chauffeur to a jump rope team, and the most difficult one of all an amazing wife. Jamie’s door was always open to anyone who just needed to talk. Jamie’s loves were her family, any animal she could convince John to adopt, like her sweet chi chi wa wa cocoa, monkeys, her beloved buffalo bills and all her many friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother Michael Blauser of Florida, a son Christopher Harris of Kane, a daughter Nedra (Cory) Garvey of Ridgway and three grandchildren Madison Garvey, Alexa Garvey, and Elizabeth Garvey all of Ridgway, brothers-in-law Kevin Dinger, Scott (Mary) Dinger and Dale Moore all of Kane, sister-law Tammy (David) Jacobs of Johnsonburg and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jamie was preceded in death by her mother Nedra Blauser, two sisters Jawayne Blauser at the age of 16 and Miranda Blauser in infancy.
Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home on Wednesday (Dec. 21) from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and also on Thursday (Dec. 22) from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A funeral ceremony will follow at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dan Reigel officiating.

Miriam M. Wehler, 99, of S. Michael Road, St. Marys, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 19, 2022 with her family by her side.
She was born on May 19, 1923 in St. Marys, a daughter of the Joseph E. and Dorothy Gleixner Smith.
On May 9, 1942 in St. Marys Church, she married the late William L. “Willie” Wehler, who preceded her in death on January 7, 2009. Together they were blessed with more than 66 years of love, laughter, and happiness.
Miriam was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1940 and lifelong member of Queen of the World Church. She retired from Thrift Drug after more than 17 years of service. She was a lifelong member of the Rosary Altar Society, St. Anne’s Society, and the C.D. of A., enjoying the friends she met along the way. She loved visiting with friends and classmates at the Golden Grad dinners, and had been honored for more than 80 years as an alumni.
In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling, especially her trip to Tanzania, Africa to visit Sr Marian and Sr Denise who were missionaries.She is survived by 7 children; Sr. Marian “Ginny” Wehler, OSB, of Oil City, Dennis (Mary Lou) Wehler of Kersey, Betsy (Joe) Azzato of Russell, Ed (Sharon) Wehler of St. Marys, Kathy (John) Bloom of Winchester, VA, Janet (Mac) Reed of St. Marys, Steve Wehler of St. Marys; and by her 21 beloved grandchildren; Lisa Mancuso, Billy Wehler, Tammi Eozzo, Debbie Defranco, Joe Azzato Jr, Amy Roberts, Mark Eckert, Chad Eckert, Dr Jill Eckert Stager, Jamie Eckert Schaut, Angela Regulski, Jessie Wehler, Billie Jo Newcamp, Mary Ann Larcade, Jack Bloom, Julie Keenan, Michelle Straub, Casey Smith, Stephanie Davis and Matthew and Maggie Wehler and by 42 great-grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.

Dennis R. CONNOLLY, 58, of Whitesville, NY
Dennis R. CONNOLLY, 58, of Whitesville, NY, died Saturday, December 17, 2022 in his home.
He was born March 5, 1964, in Wellsville. A 1982 graduate of Whitesville Central School, he served honorably with the U.S. Air Force from 1984 – 2004. Dennis spent most of his military career in the Middle East. While serving, he played on the Air Force softball team. After retiring from the military, he was employed by Alstom in Hornell, worked as a government contractor in Guantanamo Bay, and was last employed by Hines Medical Distribution in Chicago, IL, where he ran the shipping and distribution center. Dennis was an avid Bills and Sabres fan. He loved to bowl, hunt, fish, play pool, cook, and grill. He was a member of Morrison B. Hayes American Legion Post #702, Frank B. Church VFW Post #2530, and Wellsville Moose Lodge #601.
Surviving are: his mother, Sharon (Thomas) Van Etten of Whitesville; three daughters, Emilia (Joseph) Johnson of Warrenville, IL, Carol Zuniga and Mia Connolly, both of Flour Bluff, Corpus Christi, TX; a granddaughter, Valentina Moreno; three sisters, Yvonne (Arthur) Simmons of Whitesville, Amy (Jonathan) Thomas of Bolivar, and Cindy Van Etten of Delmar; nieces and nephews, Marilynn (Joshua) Crummenauer, Marcus (Shelly) Schoen, Kori Thomas, and Jayna Thomas; and his pets he loved, Wrinkles and Ramsey.

Ethel Mildred “Millie” MARGESON, 94, of Scio, NY, died Saturday, December 17, 2022 in Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Wellsville.
Born November 9, 1928, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Donald and Doris Collins Burdick. On May 15, 1949, in Wellsville, she married Howard E. “Tom” Margeson, who predeceased her on October 26, 1970.
A graduate of Wellsville High School, she was employed by Allegany County for 25 years in the Health Department, retiring in 1995. Millie was a member of Grace United Church.
Surviving are: two sons, Thomas (Lonnie) Margeson of Belmont and John (Pam) Margeson of Scio; nine grandchildren, AdreAnn (Daniel) Barnhardt, Thomas R. Margeson, Jaclyn (Michael) Lignos, Peter (Ashley) Margeson, Jeremy (Donna) Slawson, Jeff (Jaime) Slawson, Martin (Brandi) Margeson, Jeffrey (Kari) Margeson, and Joseph (Amanda) Margeson; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Mason (Sally) Burdick of Greenwood; son-in-law, Thomas A. Richard C. Platko, 79, of Nookside Lane, Bradford, PA passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
Born February 18, 1943 in Bradford, was the son of the late Andrew and Sylvia (Rich) Platko.
Dick was a 1959 graduate of Bradford Area High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree for Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1963.
Richard worked for his parents at the S&A Grocery Store at the corner of N. Bennett and State Street as a young man.
His career started as an elementary school teacher at the 6th Ward School. He went on to teach at the Custer City School and School Street Elementary School retiring in 2001 after 35 years of teaching.
Dick enjoyed taking walks, playing golf, reading, and bowling. He loved to attend his children’s band events.
Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer (Dan) Colligan, of Gallatin, TN, and Lisa (John) Auteri, of Bradford, one son, Richard A. Platko, of Bradford, and one granddaughter, Mersaydes Dillaman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one aunt, Lillian Rich.
