AUSTIN, Pa.—Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Roxanne F. “Roxy” Boyd, 65, of Austin, from 11am to 3pm on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at the Coudersport American Legion Buffalo Street, Coudersport.
Roxy passed away on May 22, 2023.
Roxy’s family entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
Marguerite E. “Peg” Smith, 87, of Smethport, PA passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side and joining her husband in heaven on Thursday (June 15, 2023) at UPMC-Cole, Coudersport.
She was born April 23, 1936 in Farmers Valley, the daughter of Roy and Verna (Ross) Miller. On March 9, 1957, in Farmers Valley, PA, she married Herbert A. Smith, who died March 24, 2015.
Peg was a graduate of Smethport Area High School and attended New Penn Beauty School, where she received her certification as a beautician.
Peg had several jobs over the years, but being a beautician was her mainstay. She worked at the courthouse for a brief period of time. She owned and operated her own shop as well as traveled to Sena Kean Manor and to her elder client’s homes to do their hair.
She attended the Free Christian Evangelical Church of Smethport and enjoyed indoor and outdoor plants, bird watching (especially hummingbirds), doing puzzles, watching figure skating and Polka Dancing. She loved listening to Gospel Music and old Country Music. Peg was always smiling and giving words of encouragement to friends and family.
She is survived by:

One daughter: Naomi S. (Donald) Raught of Smethport
Grandchildren: Jessica Raught, Caleb Raught, Micah Raught, Jamie (Justin) Smith Swede, Jacob Raught, Collin Smith, Brittney Smith, Aaron Raught, Natalie Smith and Noah Raught

In addition to her parents and husband, Peg was preceded in death by four brothers: Frank, Robert William and infant Leonard Miller; four sisters: Gertrude Freeman, Jane Fillhart, infant Charlotte Miller and closest sister and best friend, Muriel Towner.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 11AM to noon at the Free Christian Evangelical Church of Smethport, where a memorial service will begin at noon with the Rev. B.J. Simms, pastor, officiating.

Katherine Marie Teed, 91, of Morris, PA, passed away June 17, 2023 at the Green Home. She was born July 28, 1931 in Pine Township, PA to John “Jack” and May (Minier) Teed, one of their 12 children. She graduated from high school and retired from Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital. Katherine loved to garden, fish, hunt and spend time with her family.
Katherine is survived by two siblings and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 9 siblings.

Gordon R. “Dick” Johnson, 91, of 1984 Prentisvale Road, Eldred, PA passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023, at his residence, with his wife by his side.
Born on December 26, 1931, in Bradford, he was a son of the late, Gordon O. and Elva L. (Higley) Johnson.
He was a graduate of the Limestone Union Free School.
On September 6, 1952, he married Helen (Maben) Johnson, who preceded him in death on August 4, 1998. On October, 7, 2000, in the Bradford Alliance Church, he married Margaret A. “Peg” (Lowe) Vanscoter Johnson, who survives.
He worked as a mechanic for Browns Service and Milton Supply, Servomation as a cleaner, and for 30 years as a foreman at W.R. Case Cutlery, where he retired in 1992.
Dick was a member of the Bradford Alliance Church, and recently attended the Church of God in Eldred. He was a Limestone Volunteer Fireman for many years.
Surviving in addition to his wife Peg of 22 years, and seven sons, James H. (Valarie) Johnson, of Great Mills, MD, Dennis L. (Bonnie) Johnson, of Limestone, NY, Roger A. (Merri) Johnson, of Bossier City, LA, Charles A. (Tiffany) Johnson, of Bradford, Paul (Cheryl) Vanscoter, of Eldred, Mike (Jamie Whiteman) Vanscoter, of Eldred, and Matthew (Tammy) Vanscoter, of Port Allegany, three daughters, Debra L. (Danny) Clark, of Limestone, NY, Faye A. Dickerson, of Andover NY, and Brenda (Jeff) Moyer, of Shinglehouse, one brother, Howard Johnson, of Bradford, one sister, Brenda L. (Bill) Carpenter of Olean, NY, 26 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Helen, brother Merle Johnson, twin sisters, Shirley Bremiller and Sharon Johnson.

Nancy L. Lyon, 88, a resident of the Watson Memorial Home, Warren, PA, died Sunday morning, June 18, 2023, at Warren General Hospital. Nancy was born March 17, 1935, in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of Rodney C. and Wilma Emerson Zwald.
She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Nancy enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, watching western movies and was a diehard Buffalo Bills fan.
Nancy is survived by her 6 children – Judy Stockhausen of Bear Lake, PA., Kathie Reed and husband, Allan of Pittsfield, PA., Carol Nuhfer and husband, James of Mechanicsburg, PA., Rebecca Bayne of Oil City, PA., Allen R. Lyon, Jr. and wife, Julie of Cochranton, PA., Michael Lyon and wife, Catherine, of Warren, PA., 1 Sister, Mary Carol Cartney of Titusville, PA., 18 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren, several Great-Great Grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Allen R. Lyon, Sr., who died January 23, 2014, whom she married December 13, 1952, in Warren, PA., 1 Granddaughter, Morgan Lyon, 1 Sister – Marilyn Jean Gustafson, her Son-in-law, Lewis H. Stockenhausen.

William M. “Bill” Weisner, 76, of 116 Siecker Road, St. Marys, PA passed away Friday, June 16, 2023, at Penn Highlands DuBois, after a lengthy illness.
He was born September 26, 1946, in St. Marys, son of the late Harold “Slim” and Elaine Truesdale Weisner. He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1964. In his earlier years, Bill worked for his father at Harold Weisner and Sons Construction and later was employed at Keystone Carbon Company, with over 30 years of service.
On August 9, 1969, in the Sacred Heart Church, Bill married Carolee Samick, who survives. They were blessed to share 53 years of marriage.
He is also survived by his daughter, Tricia Bauer (Jason) of St. Marys; four sons: Eric Weisner (Jennifer) of St. Marys; Brian Weisner (Sarah) of Lexington Park, MD; Mark Weisner (Kelly) of Davidsonville, MD; and Curtis Weisner (Emily) of St. Marys; 15 grandchildren: Brianna, Jenna, Gabby, Lanie, Ava, Maggie, Bryn, Ethan, Tristan, and Maddie Weisner; Josh, Jack, and Reagan Bauer; and Mason and Mya Floravit; four sisters: Patty Prechtl (Jerry) of St. Marys; Cathy Dippold of Seymour, IN; Margaret Carr of St. Marys; and Marie Weisner of St. Marys; and by his sister-in-law, Junette Weisner of St. Marys.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, James Weisner.
Bill was a member of the Sacred Heart Church. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart Recipient. He loved playing cards and spending time at the Old Schoolhouse Camp. More than anything, Bill loved his children and grandchildren, and found great joy in watching them play in their sporting events.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Thomas Curry, OSB, Pastor, officiating. Full military rites will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemen’s Burial Detail. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Tuesday morning, from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM.

Jean E. Kondak, 87, of Warren, PA, died Wednesday afternoon, June 14, 2023, after an extended illness.
She was born October 9, 1935, in Pittsburgh, PA. Jean was the daughter of George and Lucille Schmidt Mostert. Jean was a lifelong Warren area resident.
She was a 1953 graduate of Warren High School. She was employed as a secretary at Warren High School and quit to start raising her family. After her family was raised, she went to work to help her son and daughter-in-law, at Kondak Markets as a clerk, catering, and office worker. She had also worked with Bev Schuler at Bev’s Craft Shop.
Jean was an active member at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, where she was a religious education teacher, and eucharistic minister. Jean was an accomplished seamstress, sewing numerous wedding dresses. Her family remembers her as a woman, who loved being a wife, mother, grandmother-who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her family when they were younger and in retirement with her husband, Al.
Jean is survived by her 4 children – Lynn Reiling and husband, Ken, Daniel Kondak and his companion, Laurie Pahnke, all of Eugene, OR., Doug Kondak and wife, Margarida of Homer, Alaska, Kurt Kondak and wife, Beth of Cherry Grove, PA., 3 Siblings – Janice Bailey and husband, Bill of Sarasota, FL., Steve Mostert and husband, Jules of Philadelphia, PA., Jodi Sigmund and husband, Steve of Warren, PA., 8 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Albert T. Kondak, whom she married April 7, 1956, at Holy Redeemer Church, who died February 6, 2017, a grandson – Patrick Kondak, a brother – Bill Mostert.

Shannon L. Dunham, 62, of Clarendon, PA, died peacefully Saturday morning, June 17, 2023, at the home of his daughter in Youngsville, PA., after an extended illness.
He was born. July 27, 1960, in Warren, PA. Shannon was the son of Levi and Clara Littlefield Dunham. He was a lifelong Clarendon area resident.
Shannon was a 1979 graduate of Sheffield High School. He was employed for 33 years with Warren General Hospital in their maintenance department, retiring due to illness. He is remembered as a real people person, who had a great sense of humor and kind spirit.
He was a member of the Clarendon Veterans of Foreign War Club, Warren Eagles Aerie. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Shannon is survived by his 2 children – Karin L. Dunham and Levi Dunham both of Youngsville, PA., 3 siblings – Shane Dunham and wife, Becky, Melissa Wilson and husband, Mark all of Clarendon, PA., Tammy Crouse of Ludlow, PA., 2 Grandsons – Kirk and Garrett Dunham, several nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Shawn Dunham.

Martha R. (Ross) Einloth, age 94, of Smethport, PA, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, PA.
On Thursday, June 15, 2023; she passed peacefully at the Bluebird Retirement Community in Marysville, OH; where she spent her last year.
Preceded in death by parents William and Grace (Brooks) Ross. Beloved wife for 50 years of the late Gerard Einloth; devoted mother of Cecilia (Peter) Ehni, Christopher (Denise), Matthew (Karen), Martin (Christine), Colette (Mark) Roberts, Carolyn Einloth and the late Stephen; also survived by brother Donald Ross, grandchildren; Tim (Alicia) Einloth, Kirsten(Jason)Wollberg, Amanda (Matt) Lyman, Colleen Roberts, Michelle Einloth, Jared (Autumn) Ehni, Alyssa Ehni; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Marty graduated from Smethport High School, where she was valedictorian of her class. She went on to Penn State University for a degree in Education and then to Drexel University where she earned a Masters in Library Science.
She was a proofreader for the advertising agency BBDO in Pittsburgh prior to leaving the workforce to start a family. She later returned to work at Kaufmann’s department store, where she remained until retirement.
She returned to Smethport after spending over 40 years in Pittsburgh. In retirement, she spent a few years on the board of the local library and volunteered with the historical society. Additionally, she was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church of Smethport.
Marty was a voracious reader and especially enjoyed a good mystery. She was Jeopardy fan and everyone knew not to call during that timeframe. She played with various bridge clubs over the years, mostly because Jerry enjoyed playing. She also became an avid bingo player while at the Bluebird.
Friends will be received at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Friday June 23 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM.

Tina M. Mesler, 58, of Honeoye Street, Shinglehouse, PA passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at the home of her daughter, Megan Mesler in Port Allegany, surrounded by her loving family following a courageous battle with cancer.
Tina was born on April 22, 1965 in Olean and was the daughter of Lee I. and Donna Jean Maple Wyant. She was formerly married to Michael W. Mesler.
Tina was a 1983 graduate of Olean High School. She worked at her family’s restaurant (Donna’s Restaurant on Rock City in Olean), and then Shinglehouse American Legion, Anderson Tavern, Adelphia- Time Warner to Morgan AM&T. Tina was a Certified Medical Assistant working for UPMC Charles Cole in Coudersport for the past eight years.
Tina was a member of the Bradford Church of Nazarene. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Shinglehouse American Legion where she has been a member since 1997. Tina enjoyed playing cards, boating, motorcycle riding, and spending time with her family. She was known for baking cakes for many events.
Tina is survived by two children, Joshua Lee (Carly Daughenbaugh) Mesler of Shinglehouse, PA and Megan J. (Phil Viereck) Mesler of Port Allegany; one granddaughter, Raelynn Wixson; three siblings, Darla K. Corah of NC, Lisa (Daryl) Avin of SC and Sam Wyant of NC; her loving companion, Jim Croft and several nieces and nephews.
Tina was predeceased by her parents.

Linda L. Phillips, 81, of Shinglehouse, passed away at home with her loving children by her side on Saturday, June 17, 2023, after a long illness.

Rose Marie Johnson, 71, of Welsh St, Kane, PA passed away on Thursday, June 15, at her residence following a lengthy illness. Born Nov. 2, 1951 in Kane, she was the third of eight children born to the late John and Stephie (Kandare) Komidar.
Rose was a lifelong resident of Kane, graduating from Kane High School in 1969. On September 29, 1984, she married Ken Johnson, who survives.
Rose’s legacy is one of love, strength, selflessness, and resilience. She had a heart that overflowed with compassion and was always ready to lend a helping hand, even while she was facing her own challenging health struggles. Her genuine concern for others and her kindness left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Rose’s great joy in life was her family. As a wife, she was the epitome of love and support. Her unwavering devotion to her husband (and he to her) was evident in every aspect of their lives. As a mother, she poured her heart and soul into raising her son, Josh. She was his rock, his confidante, and his biggest cheerleader. Her unconditional love knew no bounds. As a grandmother, Rose adored her granddaughter, Elise, and shared with pride all of her accomplishments, especially in dance.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Josh (Ashley) Komidar and granddaughter Elise Komidar of Kane, three sisters, Linda (Satch) Wenner of St. Mary’s, Kathy (Bill) Pude of Bradford and Ginny (Craig) Carrow of Johnsonburg, two brothers John (Jackie) Komidar of Pittsburgh and Frank (Lisa) Komidar of Kane; two sisters-in-law, Janice Johnson of South Carolina and Amy (Bill Rook) Johnson of Kane, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, who all loved and adored her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and their spouses, Mary (Rich) Miller and Ann (Jim) Dobrin, her in-laws, Ed and Pat Johnson and a brother-in-law, Ed Johnson.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service which will be conducted on Thursday (June 22) at 11:00 a.m. at the Cummings Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Pflieger officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Dam Inn, 3205 Glen Hazel Rd., Wilcox.

William G. “Bill” MacWhinney, age 77, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Thursday, June 8, 2023.
He was born on October 4, 1945 and was married to Suzanne “Sue” (Albert) MacWhinney. Bill owned and worked on horse farms and was a Little League Baseball coach for many years.

Michael W. Lancaster, 69, of Austin, PA passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023 at UPMC Cole.
He was born September 2, 1953 in Lancaster, PA to Clarence Eugene and Eleanor Grace (Jenkins) Lancaster. He went to school in Elizabethtown and afterwards went to work in construction.
Michael loved building things, and was full of ideas about new things to build and new ways to build them. He enjoyed hunting and had traveled from Elizabethtown to Potter county to hunt and enjoy the outdoors.
When he had the opportunity he bought a cabin outside of Austin, and finished it so that he could live here year-round. Here he could enjoy working, hunting, riding his motorcycle, splitting his wood, and his cats.
Michael is survived by three daughters: Johnelle Reeser (Nathaniel) of Elizabethtown, Hope Brocious (Aaron) of Elizabethtown, and Lindsay Lancaster of Elizabethtown; 11 grandchildren; four brothers: Thomas Lancaster of Elizabethtown, Richard Lancaster (Jodi) of Elizabethtown, Daniel Lancaster (Deb) of Bainbridge, PA, and Randy Lancaster (Lou Ann) of Bainbridge, PA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son: Michael W. Lancaster, Jr.

Ronald E. Morris, 65, of Derrick City, PA passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at his home, which was his happy place.
He was born on December 24, 1957 in Bradford a son of Joan Anderson Stiver of Bradford and the late Thomas Stiver.
He was a 1976 graduate of the Bradford Area High School.
He was a United States Air Force veteran who served from 1977 until his honorable discharge in 1981.
On October 22, 1988 at the Kushequa Union Church; he married Sharon L. Simonds who survives.
Ron was known as a “fun loving” practical joker with a great sense of humor but he was also a giving person with a compassionate heart that was always willing to help others in their time of need. When he was younger; he was an avid coon hunter and he also loved to go antiquing with his wife.
After he was discharged from the Air Force; he was hired by the former Kendall Refinery where he worked until his retirement from the American Refining Group in 2002. While he worked at the refinery he also owned and operated the former Grounds and Gardens Landscaping with his wife.
In addition to his wife of 34 years, Sharon Morris of Derrick City, he is also survived by one son, Joshua Morris of Bradenton, FL; two sisters, Robin (Carmen) DeStevens of Olean, NY and Bunny Comilla of Bradford; one brother, James (Cheri) Stiver of Derrick City and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. from 3:00 to 5:00 PM with a funeral service to immediately follow at 5:00 PM in the funeral home with the Rev. Max Simms, pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial and military honors provided by the American Legion Post 105 and the United States Air Force will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Leah Mae (Campbell) Seymour, 84, Westfield, Pennsylvania, passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, after battling a long-term illness.
Leah is survived by her son and daughter in-law, Timothy (Sharon) Seymour, Wellsboro, PA; daughter and son in-law Tammie L. (John) Hamilton, Pine City, NY; grandchildren Machelle (Anthony) Suttiles, Wellsboro, PA, Kelli (John) Wills, Wellsboro, PA, and Derek Hamilton, Pine City, NY; five great-grandsons, Wellsboro, PA; sisters, Doris Spencer, Elmira Heights, NY and Betsy Campbell, Elmira, NY; sister-in-law Cheryl Grimes, Milan, PA; several nieces and nephews from the East Smithfield, PA, Ulster, PA, and Elmira, NY areas, whom she loved and missed dearly.
Leah was Preceded in Death, by her husband, Phillip D. Seymour; mother and father, Helen B. and Phelps (Carlton) Campbell, and brother, Gary Campbell.
Leah grew up in the East Smithfield and Big Pond, PA, areas, and she loved her hometowns; even though she moved to Westfield, PA, and that became her new home, she never forgot or lost her love for her original hometowns and the people who live(d) there.
Leah worked many years at the Martha Lloyd School, Troy, PA, the Bradford County Manor, Troy, PA and with the Sayre Area School District. Leah had many hobbies such as painting, reading, gardening, crocheting, writing crochet patterns, working with young children, and she never met a flower that she did not love.
Calling hours will be held at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 W. Main St., Westfield on June 28th from 4:30 – 6:00 PM, where Leah’s family would like to thank everyone who assisted Leah in the last few years, especially the Community Resources for Independence (CRI), Tioga County, PA, good friends, personal aides, and Hospice. A graveside service will be held at the Hillside Cemetery, Big Pond, PA, on June 30th at 11:00 AM.

Mary E. Hulings, 95, formerly of School Street, Bradford, passed away, Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Mary was born in Olean, NY on February 5, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Oren Elliott and Mary E. (Swarm) Elliott-King.
She attended Olean NY schools.
Mary had worked at AirCo-Speer, and prior to her retirement she worked at the Red Cross as a cook for the Meals on Wheels program. She had volunteered at the Bradford Manor and the Pavilion at BRMC. Mary was a former member of several local clubs and auxiliaries.
On December 21, 1985 in Bradford she married Leonard G. Hulings who preceded her in death.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Dolores Schleigh and Elaine B. Pinheiro.
There will be no public services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
Dr. George P. Evans, of 33 Berva Drive, Bradford, a noted journalism educator and communication specialist, died Monday (June 12, 2023) in Erie.
He was born on Dec. 23, 1943, in South Plainfield, NJ.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Irene (nee Cavalline), of Bradford. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Anne Evans, of South Plainfield, and a brother, Dennis, of Princeton, NJ. Besides his Bradford home, Dr. Evans and his wife enjoyed their second home at 218 Stockton Ridge, at Foxmoor, in Cranberry Township, PA.
During the past decade he devoted most of this time and support to the Evans- Krivak Gynecological Cancer Research and Education Fund, which he and his wife, an ovarian cancer survivor, endowed to raise funds for ovarian cancer, which remains one of the least funded and understood among cancers.
Dr. Evans was a journalism professor at St. Bonaventure University for 29 years, hired as one of the youngest instructors at the college in 1966. He retired from that position in 1995 to enter into private practice as proprietor of Communication Services. In addition, in 2005 he was named senior project manager for Northeast Division of Finnegan & Company, of Little Rock, AR, a leading national grant and procurement consulting firm. Immediately upon his retirement, other than his own business, he was named a research analytical consultant for Carr Marketing Communications of Amherst, NY, a position which he held until his death.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 17, 2023 in Parker Hill Cemetery, Sunderlinville, PA for Joseph and Judith Hanes. Also remembered at that time will be their daughter, Cynthia Hanes. Rev. Timothy H. Miller will officiate. A luncheon will follow at the Pine Creek Inn, 1637 US-6 West, Galeton, PA 16922. Residents of Mills, PA, Mr. Hanes died June 26, 2020, Mrs. Hanes died January 6, 2023, and Cynthia died June 5, 2020.

James William Rea Paup of Fruitland Park, FL (formerly of Kane, PA) passed away Friday June 9, 2023 at the age of 88, having been born on February 24, 1935.
He was the son of the late Harry R. Paup and Ruth L. Lindblade, formerly of Kane, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife Thora Lynne Lehman (married February 9, 1957), as well as his infant sister, Barbara Ann Paup and his daughter, Jody Rea Hogan.
He is survived by his brother John F. (Chris) Paup, of Kane, PA and Wilmington, NC as well as his loving daughters Polly (John) Park Jr. of TN, Jamie Huntsman of MN, Kelly (Paul) Warner of TN and Sherry (Randall) Shappard of FL. Mr. Paup was also the proud grandfather of his 10 grandchildren; John (Jay) Park III, Sarah Park Wunderlich, Brian Huntsman, Brandy Rea Berry, James Michael Hogan, Aaron Hogan, Brandon Warner, Colleen Warner, Marc Shappard and Kristen Nash, as well as 2 great-granddaughters Emily Park and Linnea Huntsman along with many nieces and nephews and also his wife’s sister Virginia “Lou” Lehman and brother Jon E. (Gale) Lehman.
At the time of his passing, Mr. Paup was proud to have been the 2nd oldest and the 2nd longest lifetime member of Kane B.P.O.E., Elks Lodge #329.
At the wishes of the deceased there will be no service however, he will be laid to rest at Mount Tabor Cemetery in Kane, PA.

Edward H. Crisman, 69, of 12 Mechanic Street, Bradford, PA passed away suddenly, Monday, June 12, 2023, at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Born October 1, 1953, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Maurice A. and Mary Jane (Evans) Crisman.
Ed was a 1971 graduate of Bradford High School, and the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park NY.
Ed worked as a sous chef in Oklahoma, in the oil fields around Bradford, and was formerly a doorman at Players.
He attended the Church of the Ascension. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, backgammon, billiards, and flying, which was his true passion. He enjoyed telling stories of past adventures. In his youth he played Ice Hockey.
Surviving are three sisters; Susan L. (Stephen) Curley of Pennsburg, M. Melissa Crisman of Leesburg, VA, and Jennifer A. Morrison of Port Allegany, two brothers; M. Kerry (Cindy) Crisman of Smethport, and Craig E. Crisman of Mt. Jewett, one uncle, Forrest E. “Gene” Crisman (Phyllis), of Sun City FL, 11 nieces and nephews, several grand nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
Family will receive friends on Friday June 16, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave., where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, with Rev. Max Simms, Pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Nancy Lauffer Hall, 89, of Warren, PA, died Tuesday, June 13, 2023, after a brief illness. She was born November 23, 1933, to Perry and Beulah Phillips Lauffer, in Russell, PA.
A 1951 graduate of Warren High School, she worked at what was then known as the New Process Company. She married Jarold “Jerry” Hall on May 28, 1954. After starting their family, Nancy became a full-time homemaker. Their life together included family vacations, bus trips with Rex Graham and winter visits to Florida.
Nancy’s life reflected her love of family, God, and community. A longtime member of Russell United Methodist Church, she was active in her children’s school and Scouting activities, volunteered with the Russell Well Baby Clinic and was a member of the Russell Lioness and Warren General Hospital Auxiliary. Her circle of friends included the Russell Knitting Club, the Friday Mahjong Ladies, and WHS Class of 1951 lunch group.
She is survived by her children, Cathleen “Cathy” Hall and Brian Hall and his wife, Cathy Hiller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and her brother, Perry Lauffer, Jr., and sister-in-law, Barbara Gray Lauffer.

Linda L. Scalise, 71, of Warren, PA, died peacefully, Monday, June 12, 2023, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
She was born May 8, 1952, in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of Donald and Elsie Edna Marie Ghere Cummings, Sr. Linda was a lifelong Warren area resident and a 1971 graduate of Warren Area High School. She was employed for 3 years, with the former New Process Company. She enjoyed playing bingo at Warren Moose Lodge 109, was a member of their ladies of the moose. She was also a member of the Warren American Legion Post 135 Ladies Auxiliary. She is lovingly remembered as a sweet, generous, and kind woman, who loved and adored her children, and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Douglas J. Scalise whom she married September 8, 1973, in Warren, PA.
2 Daughters – Jessica Ceriola and husband, Jeffrey of Starbrick, PA., Lisa Scalise and her significant other, Jared Lear of Pittsburgh, PA., 3 Grandchildren – Mason, Morgan, and Brooks, 2 Brothers – Harold Cummings and wife, Sarah of Warren, PA., Bruce Cummings and wife, Terri, of Russell, PA., 2 Sisters – Darlene Stewart and husband, Dave, Marie Stewart, all of Warren, PA., several nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 6 Brothers – Sid, Don, Lou, Rich, Ed, and Bill Cummings, 3 Sisters – Betty Cummings, Lois Gustafson, Julie Passenger.

Robert Anderson, 57, of Indiana, PA and previously of Kane, passed away Sunday (June 11) in Reading, PA, while visiting his daughter and her family. He was born in Kane on March 9,1966. On June 22, 1984 in Kane, he married Jennifer Hearst, who survives.
Rob had served in the US Air Force. He was currently the Chief Engineer at the Ramada Inn in Indiana, PA. Rob was musically gifted and loved playing his guitar. He had played in many bands for years. He very much enjoyed spending time with his five grandchildren and was expecting his sixth very soon.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his father, Larry (Peg) Anderson; three brothers, Mike (Joyce) Anderson, Jay (Cathy) Anderson and Jeff (Julie) Anderson, all of Kane; one son, Zach (Kristen) Anderson of Indiana; one daughter Trista (Andrew) Keen of Reading; three granddaughters, Lucy and Abbey Anderson and Sadie Keen; two grandsons, Hogan and Levi Keen; his mother-in-law, Linda Hearst of Kane; one sister-in-law, Robynn (Bob) Boyer of Kane and one brother-in-law Robert (Nikki) Hearst of Kane; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Anderson.
Friends are invited to attend a visitation which will take place Saturday (June 17) from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Cummings Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 with the Rev. Calvin Cook officiating.

Patricia A. “Patty” Field, 76, of 5492 Ridgway-Johnsonburg Road, Johnsonburg, PA passed away Friday evening, June 9, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born on March 17, 1947 in Ridgway, a daughter to the late Patrick G. Condon, Sr. and Mildred Bullers Condon. On November 5, 1966 in Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, she married Raymond W. Field and he survives.
A lifelong resident of Johnsonburg, Patty was a 1965 graduate of Johnsonburg High School. A stay-at-home mom, she raised her 6 children as a loving mother. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church and was a Girl Scout Leader for over 20 years. Patty loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crafting, especially quilting.
Patty is survived by her husband Ray at home, her children Seth A. Field and his wife Sarah of St. Marys, Keith Field at home, Dottie, Mrs. Paul Peterson of Union City, Stacey Field and her longtime companion Paul of Kinsale, VA and Glenna, Mrs. Jessie Haight, of Brookville, her grandchildren Derek and Nate Field, Bella and Andrew Field, Elizabeth, Mrs. Kris Karkoski, Morgan, Mrs. Roger Kostreba, Ryan Peterson and Alayna, Lucas and Sydney Haight. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, a brother Earl Condon, sisters Rebecca and Leah Condon all of Ridgway, a sister-in-law Linda Facchine of Ridgway and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Patty is predeceased by a son Raymond P. Field and twin brothers Michael and Patrick Condon.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia A. “Patty” Field will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg at a later date and time and will be announced by the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonburg. Interment will be private. There will be no visitation.
