AUSTIN, Pa.—Heath D. Setzer, 43, a lifelong resident of Austin, passed away in his home on Monday, July 24, 2023.

Audrey was the wife of Morell (Tuffy) Wilt, for 63 years, who proceeded her in death. She was the mother to Donna Wilt Bamesberger (husband Neal), Nancy Wilt Grobbel, Elaine Wilt Bredengerd (husband Matt), Dennis Wilt and David Wilt. Audrey has 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Audrey is the eldest child of Kenneth C McGarry and Sarah Azman McGarry and she had 5 siblings. She is survived by her sister Linda McGarry Brown and her brother Peter McGarry.
Audrey will be remembered for her love of making crafts for the craft fairs, quilting and canning vegetables from their garden. Over the years she worked at Market Basket, Zippo, the Red Barn……….
The family will have a celebration of life for Audrey later when all the immediate family can be present.

Gayle Leigh Johnson (Wetherbee) of Warren, PA passed away unexpectedly on July 21st after a valiant fight with leukemia.
Gayle was born in Corry, PA on June 5, 1949, and grew up on the family dairy farm as one of five sisters. She was the valedictorian of Sparta High School Class of 1967 and earned her RN degree from the Meadville City Hospital School of Nursing in 1969.
While serving as a nurse at the Warren State Hospital she met Charles (Chuck) Johnson. The two were married in March of 1970 and spent 48 loving years together.

Jerry M. “Bubba” Blum, Jr., 27, of 3054 Budde Road, Franklinville, passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Sunday, July 23, 2023 in Salamanca.
Born on December 16, 1995, in Olean, he was a son of Jerry M. Blum, Sr. and Sherry Homuth.
Jerry was a graduate of Ten Broeck Academy Class of 2015.
He had several jobs throughout the years, but especially enjoyed working on farms and being outdoors. He also was a substitute cleaner for Ten Broeck Academy.
Jerry loved hunting, fishing, and listening to classic country music. He always enjoyed wearing his cowboy hat.

Terry C. Browning, age 64, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Thursday, July 20, 2023.
He was born on April 5, 1959 in Justice, WV a son of the late George A. Browning and Lois M. (Wolford) Browning.
Terry served in the US Army and was married to the late Deborah L. (Rawson) Browning. He worked at the Tioga County Prison for over 35 years, retiring as the Prison Warden.
Robert J. Douglass Hannon, 21, of Bradford, PA passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Rochester General, Rochester, Monroe County, NY.
Born January 6, 2002, in Hagerstown, MD, he was a son of Jeannie (Taylor) Hannon and Robert Hannon, Sr.
Doug was a 2020 graduate of Bradford High School, where he was Quarterback for the football team, wrestled, and played on the travel soccer team.
He enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and anything to do with Tom Brady. He also enjoyed his corgis, Lily and Lou.
Doug was employed as a General Laborer for Bernie Giest Builders.
Surviving are his mother Jeannie (Richard Kirtz) Hannon, his father Robert J. Hannon Sr., Doug’s fiancée, Haley Leet, whom he resided with, three sisters, Kat Newton, Jessica Hannon, and Aroura Distrola, two brothers, Kristopher Taylor, and Brodie Distrola, grandparents, Christine Douglass Hannon, Karen Newton Pennington, William Douglass, and Brenda and Derek Thorne, four aunts, Melissa Hannon, Kylie (Seth) McMcleary, Brittany Taylor, and Melissa (Josh Everly) Wright, three uncles, Joey (Bethany) Hannon, Bryan (Nichole) Taylor, and Caleb (Sam) Pennington, cousins, Abby (Aaron), Griffin, Jaden, Seth, Kody, Hailey, Wyatt, Donovan, Sam, Matt, and Braedon, and several great aunts and uncles, and many friends, including his best friend Ayron Hart.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph G. Hannon, great grandparents, Matthew and Beverly Hannon, Dayle and Jean Newton, Edith and Myron Taylor, and two cousins, Bryan Timothy Hannon and Hope Everly.

Anthony “Tony” E. Pierotti, 73, of Coudersport, PA passed away on July 21, 2023, at UPMC – Cole, Coudersport.
Tony was born on January 29, 1950, in Jersey City, NJ, the son of the late John Pierotti who died when Tony was 14 years old, and Angielina (Favorito) Pierotti who died when Tony was 18 years old. Tony has shared over 35 years with his companion, Bette Gates who survives.
Tony graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a bachelor’s degree in education. He worked as a Nurses Aid for Charles Cole Hospital for 25 years and prior, four years at the Sweden Valley Manor where he met Bette.
Born November 7, 1929 in Bradford, PA to the late Ruby (Shaner) and Archie Piper, she graduated from Bradford High School in 1947. She attended Lasell College before transferring to Penn State University, where she graduated with a degree in Elementary Education in 1952.
Eugenia (Jean) Piper Nelson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on July 20, 2023 at the age of 93. Her family was by her side at the Bradford Nursing Pavilion.
She was teaching in Warren, PA, when she met the love of her life, Arvid R. Nelson, Jr. They were married on August 28, 1954 and spent the next 58 years in a wonderfully happy marriage. Arvid proceeded her in death in 2011.
Jean smiled often, finding joy and comfort in the simple things in life. She loved to travel and explored abroad and throughout the USA with her family. On Sunday afternoons, she loved going on scenic drives, marveling at many beautiful sites in the area. Jean also enjoyed volunteering, reading, playing bridge, selling real estate and the companionship of many dogs throughout her life.
Jean loved her family and was blessed with wonderful relationships with her grandparents, parents, brother, and cousins that lasted a lifetime. She was most proud and devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jean never met a stranger she didn’t like. She had a wealth of stories and memories to share with all.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother and best friend Richard S. Piper. Jean was a loving mother to four children: Arvid (Angela) Nelson III, Carol (Patrick) Ryan, Stephen P. Nelson and Diane Nelson Ludwig, all of Bradford. Jean loved being part of the lives of her four grandchildren: Zara (Mark) Shick, Krystle (Chad) Dillaman, Ian Ivancic, and Brock Nelson; and six great-grandchildren: Taryn, Hailey, and Nora Shick, and Regan, Landon, and Alayna Dillaman.

Wallace is currently in Hamot Trauma ICU on life support. Wallace’s family has opted for the beautiful gift of organ donation, where not only can Wallace give the gift of life but parts of him can live on through others.
Wallace has a rare blood type, so please try to find comfort in knowing even in his end moments, he has found a way to continue loving and helping others.
There is not one person I know that doesn’t love Wallace. Whether he was family, a friend, a smiling passing by face, Wallace made an impact on everyone he met. Wallace deserves to have a beautiful celebration that will be held in Rew, PA next Saturday.
Wallace’s mom has requested that photos & stories of Wallace be sent in. I am going to be making a story book for the family. Please send any and all pictures & favorite memories you have. Joseph F. COSTA, 83, of Coudersport, PA, died Friday, July 21, 2023 in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport.
Born June 21, 1940, in Coudersport, he was the son of Joseph S. and Frances Zot Costa.
A 1958 graduate of Coudersport High School and a 1962 graduate of Penn State University, he earned a degree in electrical engineering. Following graduation, he was employed as an electrical engineer by Westinghouse at the defense plant in Baltimore, MD for ten years.
In October of 1972, he bought the former Pepper’s Market in Coudersport and owned and operated Costa’s Food Center until October of 2019. He served several terms on the board of directors of Olean Wholesale Grocery Cooperative.
He also served on the former Citizens Trust Company board of directors and the advisory board of the Coudersport branch of Citizens and Northern.
Joe was a member of St. Eulalia Catholic Church in Coudersport and Coudersport Golf Club. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid fly fisherman and golfer.
Surviving are: a sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Raup of Coudersport; a brother, Thomas (Delores) Costa of Coudersport; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ann Fosmire.
A private graveside service will be held in St. Augustine-St. Paul Cemetery, Costello. Rev. Christopher Wheeler will preside. Cremation was at Olney-Foust Private Crematory.

Helen Miller passed away early Saturday morning July 22, 2023, after a long illness.
She was the youngest of 4 children born to Joseph B. Thorpe and Luella Spencer Thorpe. She attended the Plankroad Schoolhouse, one of the last one room schoolhouses in the area before moving to Greensburg, PA and graduating from Hempfield High School.
She was an avid hunter and loved making stained glass windows and lamps in her spare time. She held many different jobs in her lifetime, but what she was most passionate about was spending time with her family, taking care of her pool, and watching her favorite movie “The Grinch”.
Helen is survived by her loving husband R. Scott Miller; two daughters, Vanessa (Patrick) Sweeney and Maria Linkerhof; two grandsons, Ethan Sweeney, and Aidan Sweeney; two granddaughters, Jordyn (Joshua) Armstrong and Kaitlyn Zuzzio; two great granddaughters, Jaelyn Adkin and Juliana Armstrong; one great grandson, Jaryan Armstrong; two brothers, Dan (Diane) Thorpe and Joseph “Butch” Thorpe; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Luella Thorpe, her sister, Meredith “Mimi” Pizer, her nephew, Patrick “Pete” Wightman, her niece, Bonnie Andersen, and her great nephew, Jeremy “Griz” Andersen.
A celebration of Helen’s life will be announced and held at a later date.

Frederick G. Andreano, 75, of Port Allegany, PA passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday (July 20, 2023) at his residence in Port Allegany.
He was born March 27, 1948 in Buffalo, NY, the son of Gerald Randall and Alice Glace. He was raised by his adopted parents, Frederick G.A. Andreano and Florence VanHorne. On April 11, 1970, in Port Allegany, PA, he married Virginia “Ginger” Rittburg, who survives.
Raymond E. Lowe Jr., 73, of Warren, PA, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023, in the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House, after a brief battle with cancer.
He was born in Warren, Pa on April 9, 1950, the son of the late Raymond E. Lowe M.D. and Helen Knapp Lowe.
Ray was a graduate of Warren High School, Class of 1968, he then graduated from Marietta College in Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He retired from United Refining and from the Boilermakers Union. After his retirement, Ray drove for Warren Bus Lines, Brinks, Bollinger Enterprises, and the Barber Institute.
Basil A. Buchanan, Jr., 75, of Emporium, PA formerly of Driftwood passed away at his residence on Saturday morning with his family by his side (July 22, 2023) following a brief illness.
He was born January 5, 1948 in Renovo, PA a son of the late Basil A. and Georgianna Saxton Buchanan. On September 8, 1973 in DuBois, PA he married the late Margaret “Maggie” Shrauger.
Rose M. Varisano, 91, of Dawson Street, Kane, PA passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the home of her nephew in Wexford.
Born February 1, 1932, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Angeline Ferraro Varisano.
Rose was a graduate of the class of 1949 at Kane High School. She later worked in Customer Service for the Stackpole Corporation until her retirement in 1987.
She was a loyal member of St. Callistus Catholic. She also had been a very active member of CD of A (Court Callistus #66) and Alpha Beta Phi sorority.
Rose is survived by many loving nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Louie Varisano and Vincent (Jim) Varisano; and sisters Mary Varisano, Nancy(Joe) Sirianni and Anne (Walt) Nalducci. Rose was the last surviving member of her immediate family and had been a loving caregiver to many of her siblings.
Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. from 4:00 to 7:00pm Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am Wednesday at St. Callistus Catholic Church, with the Rev. Philip Pinczewski, former pastor at St. Callistus, as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Callistus Cemetery.
Catherine L. Bartoo, age 74, of Sabinsville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Snyder Memorial in Marienville, PA.
Born August 1, 1948 in Blossburg, she was the daughter of the late Leland and Evelyn (Stebbins) Bartoo.
Catherine graduated in 1966 from Cowanesque Valley High School and worked for Soldiers and Sailors Hospital for thirty years as a medical assistant helping out in all areas. She enjoyed crocheting and loved painting ceramics.
She is survived by her sisters, Verla and Duane Patterson and Judith and Dennis Moyer of Sabinsville; sister in law, Nancy Bartoo and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Bartoo.
There will be no services at this time. Burial will be in Sabinsville Cemetery.

Jack J. JONES, 72, of Wellsville, NY, died Wednesday, July 19, 2023 in Mercy Hospital, Buffalo.
Born September 7, 1950, in Wellsville, he was the son of Robert and Rachel J. McAllister Jones.
Jack attended Whitesville Central School. He was employed by the Parks and Recreation Department with the Village of Wellsville. Jack was a member of Wellsville Moose.
Surviving are: two daughters, Melanie (Randy) Doerr of Jacksonville, NC and Melinda (Jason) Dunham Raleigh, NC; four grandchildren, Megan Doerr, Brandon Doerr, Sadie Dunham, and Savannah Dunham; five siblings, Nancy Payne of North Fork, PA, Susan Cornish, Debbie Button, Becky (Victor) Torpey, all of Wellsville, and Tom (Lisa) Jones of Olean; uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Jones; a brother, David Jones; and a sister, Linda Force.
Services will be private.
Cremation was at Olney-Foust Private Crematory.

Carol J. Wenzel, 77, of Coudersport, formerly of Warren, PA passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, in UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport, after a short illness.
Born on Wednesday, October 10, 1945, in Jamestown, N.Y., she was a daughter of William and Frances Przybelinski Wermter. On July 18, 1964 in Warren, she married Ronald L. Wenzel, who survives.
Carol was a graduate of Warren High School. She was employed as a ward clerk at Warren General Hospital for 36 years until her retirement.
Carol enjoyed raising animals and also enjoyed crocheting. Her greatest love was her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Ronald of 59 years; a son, William (Sarah) Wenzel of Coudersport; four grandchildren, Kyle, Amber, Wyatt, and Sydney; three sisters, Sandy Weaver, Linda (Kenny) Shaffer, and Sue Albinio; a brother, William “Pete” (Regis) Wermter; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents. Carol was predeceased by her daughter, Rhonda Wenzel.
In keeping with Carol’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. Private burial services will be held in the Sweden Hill Cemetery, Coudersport.

Mark A. Dussia, 55, of Warren, PA, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. He was born in Ridgway, PA., on October 23, 1967, son of Louie Dussia and Mary Lutz Maines. Mark was a 1985 graduate of Warren High School, where he played trumpet in the marching band and was a member of the National Honor Society.
Mark was the service technician and shop manager at Dreamboat Marine and Hobby Shop in Starbrick, PA., where he worked with his father for the past 38 years. He had the reputation as the number one certified Mercury Mercruiser Technician in the area and was sought out for his analytical skills.
He was devoted to his family and loved spending time with them. He was an avid and studied chess player. He had a passion for classic Mopars and VWs and owned various classical automobiles over the years. He was a dedicated weightlifter and strove to maintain a healthy lifestyle. He was an assistant scout master for Boy Scout Troop 8, served as their treasurer, and was affectionately known to them as “Mara’s Dad.” He was also a member of the International Order of the Odd Fellows Lodge 339 in Warren PA.
In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by his wife, Tammy Robinault Dussia, daughter – Mara Dussia, stepson, Tanner Rosenberg (Devon), stepdaughter, Taylor Lent, and 3 step grandchildren, Kora, Klay, and Clara.
Mark was preceded in death by his sister, Melanie Dussia Martire. A private celebration of Mark’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
