MVAI : MVA WITH INJURIES

5166 ROUTE 49, DEERFIELD

Dept 6,14,25,7A(ambulance), Wellsboro hospital medics dispatched for a MVA. Rescue 6-8, Chief 6-20 arrived on scene to find one vehicle, off the roadway, hit a pole and a tree. Rescue crew began to assess the patient for injuries.

Rescue crew did not find any apparent or serious injuries. Due to the mechanism of injury command kept both BLS and ALS responding. Engine 6-2 setup traffic control on the west side of the incident. Rescue 14-8, Chief 14-10 and 20 responded and setup traffic control on the east side of the incident.

Units responding were: Rescue 6-8, Engine 6-2

Members responding were: Chief D. Bloom, Asst Chief R. Bloom, Asst Chief M. Bloom, Captain I. Druetto, FF J. Peet, FF T. Cline, FF S. Zerby, and probationary member R. Burrell.
